A fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations.
Motsamot is a wonderful villa, we set up & perfect for families with kids. The staff were incredibly helpful & went out of their way to meet all our requests. The villa was kept very clean & even having gifts on our beds every night was very thoughtful & a nice touch. The villa had all we needed & the set up with 2 living areas & kitchens was perfect. While we were there, a couple of problems arose with the hot water supply & a kitchen pipe leakage & the villa staff were excellent in getting these things sorted immediately. It couldn't have been a better holiday -thank you:)
Relaxing luxury
The service was excellent, it couldn't have been better. Tick in particular was wonderful and the chef cooked fantastic fresh food.
The villa was lovely in a fantastic location and on the whole was great but it did require a little maintenance and redecoration.
There was road works during the last week which did cause some dissatisfaction and problems with noise.

A most beautiful villa experience
This holiday experience has been one in which we wont ever forget. The villa was beautiful with every facility you could wish for and more, set on an idyllic shore line with the most beautiful sunsets.
Our expectations were far surpassed by the service we were given by the villa manager (POO and her team). I cannot sing thier praises enough! This holiday was definately made very special indeed by thier discrete attention to our every need. The food was exquisite, cooked freshly every meal time (EM the chef is a wonder!).
This was like a six star private hotel all to ourselves, heaven!

Better than we even imagined!
We has a fantastic time in Samui at Baan Samlarn! We had high expectations after our visit to Baan Haad Sai in January but were trying not to set the bar unreasonably high or make too many comparisons/assumptions based on our previous experience. However, we can say all of our expectations were easily met. The weather was perfect and the house and staff, lovely. At the end of the week we were trying to figure out when we can make another trip. It's not often that a vacation that includes 7 children under 6 can be called "relaxing" and yet, honestly, this one was. To be honest, since we were traveling with so many young children, we felt that we were spending a bit more on a house than we really wanted to spend, and for a nicer house than we needed, but in the end we decided it was money well worth spending and a tremendous value, particularly the chef service. The food was amazing and so reasonably priced -- a total highlight of the trip!

T, the manager at Suralai was great, so was the staff. The villa was in great condition. Everything went as planned. Pascal, the co-oridinator and Patrick who has been our contact to Luxury Retreats both were great in setting up the trip and staying on top of things. If you were a public company i would invest in you and I am happy to meet the owners anytime to discuss the business generally. Congrats. One thing though, the massages that were ordered prior to the trip and which came to the villa were like 20 times the price of regular massages all across the island, you may consider finding a more cost effective masseues organizaiton.
Our Holiday
The Villa was great and the staff were very attentive. The only down sides were there were lots of power cuts and my wife's wedding ring went missing.
I think this was lost somewhere in the bedroom rather than stolen.
Lovely and peaceful stay in a wonderful villa
It was a perfect place for our family
We went to Koh Samui and the Ban Haad Sai Villa with our family of ten to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Our children had arranged a wonderful celebration that included massages, special clothing, a Buddhist blessing, flowers, a videographer, etc. The events were captured in wonderful photos which we will always enjoy. The staff at the Villa were amazing. They catered to our every need. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool and the beach, and the adults enjoyed the privacy of each of the villa rooms.
Exceptionally beautiful and the staff made our stay unforgettable.
We have said that this is the only vacation where we wouldn't change a thing. It was perfect. The weather although rainy a couple of days was so comfortable. When we hung out around the house we were all relaxed and well entertained. The staff, especially Ya helped us plan our days so that we enjoyed the island but didn't overdo. Our food was so superior at the house that we didn't need to eat out and when we did we were disappointed.
We enjoyed the area spas, water activities, muy thai, shopping, scenic drives, elephants and hiking. The people were so friendly and helpful that we could not have felt more comfortable.
we were disappointed when we didn't have any power in the house on Dec. 25th. The staff handled it very well. We appreciate that they were willing to move us although it ended up that the decision was made too late. We should have moved the children earlier so that they weren't so tired. Seeing the house on the beach we were even more thankful for hillsid
We had a wondeful time.
The in house chef Bo is excellent. We really enjoyed her Thai cooking. The driver Boy is also very professional and pleasant. The 2 assistants are nice. The villa manager is a very sweet person, but she should improve her English.
The villa itself is lovely. We stayed in the same villa two years ago. We are extremely pleased that they took our advice and installed air-con in the sitting room!! This made a huge difference. We are glad to note that the villa has been very well maintained.

Baan Chao Lay 1 week stay
We could not fault our one week stay at Baan Chao Lay. It is ideal for anyone wanting to holiday in a quiet location that is only 20 minutes from the more touristy areas of Koh Samui. The villa is maintained and managed very well and the staff were all excellent, especially our full-time chef. He cooked the best Thai food we have ever eaten day after day. The villa manager was a delightful lady who offered plenty of local advice and was generally a helpful person. The beach is not ideal for swimming in July, but we spent all our time in the pool anyway. It was a very child-friendly villa and the staff were all extremely pleasant.
The Golden Palm Villa Experience exceeded our expectations.
The Golden Palm Villa in Thailand was an amazing experience. The staff were excellent and provided us with breakfast each morning. The complex itself was beautiful and we spent many hours in the infinity pool and lounging on the deck. Overall, I would give the entire experience a 9.5 out of 10. Services provided by Luxury Retreats were excellent and I will definitely be a future customer. Well done!!!

Great staff, great food, fabulous pool and quality amenities. Spacious bedrooms, great hi-fi, 2 minutes to the beach, secluded location with magnificent views high on the hill overlooking Chewang. Working in the hospitality industry I have sampled some of the best suites and villas available. This is the best private accommodation experience you will have in Koh Samui.
