relaxing and peaceful
Richard was completely courteous and professional, he was most of the reason why I followed up my idea of renting a villa and did not just stick with a hotel. He was a pleasure to communicate with and I would surely conduct business with him again.
A pefect spot to peacefully enjoy the rugged beauty of Costa Rica.
We enjoyed the stylish bungalow's peace and tranquility and loved coming back to it after a day of adventure. This area of Costa Rica is still quite rugged and we might have missed a lot without the guidance and suggestions of Fabrice, the house manager. With his help our girls were able to learn to surf, we saw lots of wildlife, ate some great food and enjoyed several amazing beaches!
A stunning location and a gorgeous place to stay
The villa has ample room to gather your group for meals and activities, or places to wander off for quiet, alone time. The house manager and staff is available day or after-hours if needed to assist, and they're terrific. Every day, we would wake up to watch the sunrise over the Pacific and the monkeys scamper from tree to tree - as the sun set, we'd watch the toucans and hawks and turn on the soft lights in the pool. It's a tropical paradise.
Indulgent Honemoon
Being the smallest group (2 people) to stay at the villa, we indulged in every bit of its beauty, privacy and comfort. The house itself is absolutely breathtaking. The concierge service made the experience feel like a luxury hotel, but without having to share the property with other guests.
We decided that the size of the villa, with the privacy of each bedroom, is perfect for a return trip with friends. The house offers the feel of a true home away from home, with the availability of every service of a hotel.
We enjoyed the chef services with its extensive menu choices and the personal attention of the chef. The food was amazing.
The location of the house, however, made it tempting to dine at various amazing restaurants in the area. Just a short 5 minute drive gives you access to 5 star fine dining, as well as fantastic, casual authentic local cuisine.

Wonderful villa and staff in a beautiful location.
Our vacation was wonderful. The villa was better than I expected. The pictures on the web make it appear a tad bit "cheesy" so I was nervous. It is so much better in person. The staff is so accommodating and nice! The meals were great and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this villa as we were very pleased.

Sweet spot for a honeymoon
After spending close to 2 weeks at Diosa del Mar, my husband and I can confidently say it's a lovely place to spend some quiet, quality time. Located in a small village there isn't too much to do outside the home, but the home makes up for it. Great amenities - new kitchen, pool, walking distance to the beach, large living room with nice TV, Internet, clean bedrooms / bathrooms. The location of the house is beautiful. We had a wonderful time and would go back for another trip in a heart beat.
This is the most memorable vacation and relaxing
I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to just relax and enjoy the most beautiful sinerey and awesome house. All the people at the house took great care of us.

Spectacular Costa Rica vacation!
Luna, our beautiful Costa Rica house overlooking the Pacific Ocean, was exactly as pictured on your website. The house was spotless and included all the necessary amenities. The views from the bedrooms and living room were as spectacular as the views from the patio and the infinity pool. Steven, our concierge, was fabulous at advising us and helping us to make the most out of our visit. Costa Rica is a beautiful country and offers a wide variety of activities to do (although the house was so spectacular, we could have spent the week admiring the view).
Relaxing, Beautiful, Stressfree and no detail left to chance!!!
Costa Rica and especially Case Feliz were amazing. The villa was spectacular. Every detail of our trip was handled from beginning to end. The villa was fully stocked with every amenity one could imagine. Pool was maintained beautifully along with everyday housekeeping. Staff was especially considerate, respectful and professional. Dallas who works at La Reserva made our trip incredible. She is on-call literally 24/7. Nothing was too much trouble. She coordinated taxi's, dinners, excursions and many other things that creep up when you are traveling with 3 small children!! The villa was beautifully decorated and we enjoyed just relaxing in the afteroons by the pool. Breakfast and dinner was prepared daily by Patricia. She is amazing as well. Each meal was cusomized to your liking!! Overall just an incredible expreience. Thank you!
Amazing house rental in Costa Rica
We had a fabulous week at La Costa in costa Rica. The house was beautiful with a wonderful patio/pool and beach front location. The community pool was right next door which gave our children endless things to do each day. We had a chef come and prepare two meals for us which were outstanding. The service was excellent and out concerns were promptly attended to. We would absolutely recommend this house to anyone!
Thoughtfully Luxurious!
We really enjoyed our stay at Mareas--the villa is even more spectacular than in photos, and walking into the main house when we first arrived took our breath away. The owners are incredibly helpful and made themselves very available to us. The villa was very thoughtfully designed, including artfully and subtly lighted pathways, plenty of lounging area, a bar long enough to accommodate our whole group at once. The owners also had lots of activities suggestions, and if we felt like we were getting a bit of a hard sell on some of them, we still found the advice to be very valuable. Tim in particular is a treasure, both as a wonderful chef and an objective concierge.

Mareas
It just couldn't get any better than El Castillo De Esparza
From the indepth pre-holiday questions asked by the property's manager, Henry, I knew we were in for some serious pampering, which is exactly what our family needed after the hectic and emotional Christmas season.
Once we arrived, we found that the pictures on the website did not do the property justice. But how exactly could you capture all of that on film? It was much better than we imagined, and our expectations were very high.
The only complaint - too much food! But it was so delicious that we couldn't possibly say no. From the five course new year's eve dinner, to the pizza and movie night - nothing was too big or too small for them to handle.
We are definitely heading back there next year!

We had a wonderful visit, the villa was magnificient, the staff were attentive, and the entire experience was flawless.
Fantastic Casa Ramon Experience
The Villa Casa Ramon could not have been more perfect for us and the nine people we invited for our special week. The luxurious accommodations, fine appointments and attention to detail were evident everywhere in the house and on the grounds. We and our guests were "blown away" by the Casa and the Staff.
The Staff was attentive to our every need, beyond what one would expect at a 5 Star hotel. Villa Manager Marlon and staff members Henry, Nidia, Jay, and message therapist Evelyn are to be commended for their service. Chef Patricia, was fabulous. Each meal seemed to be better than the last, if that were possible, and anything we wished for was prepared exceptionally well and pleased each of our varied tastes.
Our stay at Casa Ramon went well beyond what we had expected and in our foreign travels over the past 25+ years, we have come to expect quite a lot. We would and will recommend Casa Ramon and the Dominical region to anyone. We can hardly wait for our next CASA RAMON visit!
Casa Feliz is Amazing!
The house is absolutely beautiful and has every ammenity a traveler could need and more. Everything from the very large bedrooms, the amazing sunset views, the perfect size pool and patio to a fabulous kitchen. The on site staff is so helpful, from cleaning to doing your laundry daily, to calling taxis and making reservations. No detail has been ignored to ensure you have a luxurious stay.
A room with a view
Very comfortable and nicely decorated villa with a splendid view on the sea from Manuel Antonio on one side to the peninsula on the other side. Conveniently located 500 meters from the Dominicalito surf beach and 3 km from Dominical. Car required. Very near to the road with the downside of the noise from trucks. Very efficient while discreet maid. Superb (French speaking) support from Laurence, running the villa locally. Home cinema room but a) you need to have your DVD along and b) room only accessible if you have arranged for the maid to be there as she is the only one authorized to operate it. Also, owner has decided to have no shade or curtain in the master's bedroom. You will wake up early. All in all, a great stay.

Paradise!
We all had a wonderful trip to costa Rica and staying at the Villa (Diosa Del mar) was the highlight. It was perfect - everyone from Luxury Retreats were wondeful. Each person I communicated went out of their way to ensure that the experience would be great. They provided information not only about the Villa, but about the local area as well. From start to finish, they followed up on every detail.
The villa itself was beautiful. The accomodations were very comfortable and the scenery magnificient. Vincent and Eve who oversaw the Villa were a delight and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time.
