Relaxing and luxurious.
Pool was too cold when we arrived, and bugs noises made one room unavailable to sleep in. The pool took almost a week to warm up, due to slow response of man to arrive and fix it. It was a shame that the farmer decided to harvest a dusty field next to the house which meant we had to close the pool up, plus shattered the peace and tranquility for a couple of afternoons. Other that these points, the house itself was very well decorated and simply a pleasure to be in. Colin, the house keeper was very pro active and made sure we were well looked after. Top chap!

L'Isle Sur La Sorgue and Villa Nathalie are Picturesque
Our family of 5 rented Villa Nathalie in L'Isle Sur La Sorgue for two weeks in August, 2011. The town is charming and vibrant with restaurants lining the river and antique fairs at least once a week. It is located less than an hour from Arles, Avignon, Carpintras, Gordes, Les Baux, Marseille and the Chateauxneuf de Pope wine region. Great day trips.

The villa is set up nicely for a family of five. The master bedroom with washer/dryer is on the first floor with its own air conditioning unit. Three bedrooms and two baths upstairs for kids. The upstairs bedrooms got a bit too warm at night but the kids didn't seem to mind.

The pool is nestled among olive trees and beautiful views. Really lovely.

Our biggest concern was fire safety. The only way to exit the villa if the doors are locked is by using a tricky key system. Also, we were visited by a few scorpions, spiders and hoppers. But no one in Provence uses screens and windows are left open so it was expected.

It was magnificent.
We were pleasantly surprised that the villa exceeded our expectations. It offered more amenities than were pictured or listed in the rental description. The pool was beautiful and enormous. The tennis court and racquets were great. (We did take new balls) There was a wonderful new ping pong table. There was badminton, petanque, bikes, a lovely sauna. The kitchen was exceedingly well equiped, glasses, pots and pans, etc. The walk in refrigerator, barbeques, dishes, ice machines made it all easy and very comfortable. There were numerous tables, chairs, benchs, lounges, swings, umbrellas, arbors, for either sun or shade. The gardens and lawns were large and immaculate. There were 18 of us and we did not use all the bedrooms and bathrooms. There was plenty of privacy for all. Our caretakers--Jack and Marie-Claude were always available, friendly and answered every request. We would return in a heartbeat. It will be hard to top.

stunning villa! top notch service! lots of additional details in vill
First, the villa was the most exquisite villa we ever rented. The architecture, the design, the activities at the villa, the property was absolutely top notch! We were greeted by Bernard (manager) with such respect and enthusiasm. He was always welcoming and helpful, cleaning, folding towels...
The activities at the villa made us want to stay in and not tour France (sauna, tennis, atv, pétanque, pool, bikes, exercise, trampoline...) Also, for joggers, this was paradise! There was a great path in the forest for running.
The villa had so much character but yet was very practical at the same time. 2 fridges, 2 dishwasher, 2 washers...great for a large group.
The outdoor kitchen too was very well planned: fridge, stove, sink...
the 2 libraries were also very handy for rainy days. The kids also found a movie room tucked away and were overwhelmed bt the selection of movies.
In bref, the villa was absolutely BREATHTAKING!

Perfect village, great villa.
The village of Eygalieres is picture-postcard perfect. Not too big, not too small, hilltop history but everyday activites are at the base and therefore easy on the legs! The more major centres of St Remy (10 mins) and Avignon (25 mins) are also quite proximate. The villa itself is almost brand new and is extremely well set up, with everything you could imagine. It is about 1.1km from the village centre, so not too bad a stroll, but we had kids and therefore mostly we drove. The villa itself is in a newly developed area, with lots of new houses amognst an old olive grove, so while it can feel a little "suburban" the olive trees and the distance between the houses means this isn't too bad. Overall, a very comfortable home in a fantastic little village.

We had a wonderful vacation. Loved the house, the region, the services provided by Colin and the housekeeper were great. Pascal from the concierge was also very helpful.

Villa Fontcaudette was charming, spacious, well-equipped, comfortable,
Our location of Villa Fontcaudette was central to all the areas we wanted to explore. We went to most of the village markets, ate in wonderful restaurants and cafes and enjoyed all the beauty and magic of Provence. It was great to have Villa Fontcaudette as our home while there.

Great Accommodations in Western Provence
My wife and I invited a bunch of very close friends to spend the week with us in Provence. The house is very nicely furnished in every respect from pot and pans to Wifi Internet. We found it very peaceful and yet convenient to get to the sites to see in that part of the world. We comfortably slept 11 in the house.

the villa was great...very rustsic and authentic with ammeneties to make it very comfortable. jeannine was helpful but unfortunately ill so she was unavailable to us until our last day. she could and should have been an important link to us as we speak little french. once she did help us wih a lunch reservation (on our last day) it was clear what a help she could have been had she not been so ill while we were there. it appears thats she really knows the region and would be an invaluable source of ideas and reservations...i was dissapointed that she was not able to really help us more. we LOVED les muriers...it was so very charming and comfortable for our large, extended family. everyone had their privacy and space...the pool was great as well. pascal helpded us with a rental car reservation which was helpful. things i wish had been diferent...you should post comments about sites on your website and offer more ideas to guests about the town and restaurants/sites to see.

The villa was just as picutred if not better, spacious and light, good furniture, lovely gardens, amazing swimming pool. Lovely eating areas and huge kitchen for our chef to work in. The location was perfect, very near a top restaurant. THe view gorgeous and the safety of the building good. All in all just perfect.

A homely retreat in mid-Provence full of enchanting character
A beautiful home that really did have the elements of luxury we were after. Cosy and homely with everything you would expect but with several added 'wow' factors: the outside dining area and lounge area were magical, the pool was big and the interior beautifully and interestingly furnished.

The villa manager who met us was great as was the small 'welcome' package of some fruit, cheese, milk and a bottle of wine.

Le Paradou itself is a charming little village with lovely shops and great restaurants nearby.

a fantastic time!
The villa was great, everything from luxury retreats was very well done and very thorough. the staff recommendations were amazing (nanny was super!!) and the rental equip was perfect. the only complaint was the on site manager (Colin) was pretty clueless as to surrounding area and how to run the actual house. (pool, coffee machines, etc) there was a pretty bad bug infestation and he didn't know how to take care of that. Other than that all was perfect and we had a great time.

Delightful...all expectations were met.
I'm so pleased with Luxury Retreats. The website was very accurate with plenty of pictures of the property. Everyone I spoke with was well informed, helpful and readily available. The house was well outfitted with towels, toiletries, cleaning products (but low on automatic dishwashing detergent and paper towels) and kitchen utensils and crockery. The follow-up prior to leaving and during our stay was reassuring. I will definitely use Luxury Retreats for all my rental needs and will recommend you to all my friends.

High quality villa and good location, we'd consider renting it again
Positives - High quality villa with a great pool (with cover and good temperature, warmer than others we've experienced in the region) and outdoor bbq/kitchen area as well as good kitchen with 2 fridges, lots of dining options in and outdoors, well planned garden not overlooked and quite private despite proximity of neighbours, wi-fi, also very helpful maid with daily service, aircon in half the bedrooms, fresh herbs in the garden, Eygalieres is a lovely village, secure gated parking for 2 cars

Negatives - No satellite TV (as was advertised), in fact the only tv in the house was a small 15 inch set upstairs in one of the bedrooms (this was not a major issue as we used laptops for the kids to watch movies but would have been good to know in advance), 1km walk into the village is OK, but quite a way out, small plot not a large garden, the outbuilding rooms were not as high quality as the main house and lacked a/c, Fatiha the maid only spoke French - not an issue for us but worth notin

Villa spotless and lovely position; I believe we should have been told it was attached to another building as the neighbours dogs and cats we were made very aware of as dogs kept outside and barked alot during the night

An amazing villa!
Villa Boulbon is a delightful villa. It has most things that you need, lovely furnishings, good beds and lovely grounds. It is located in the countryside, 20 minutes outside of Avignon. It is extremely hard to find with no markers. However, once you find it, it is delightful. I would definitely suggest a GPS system with your rental car. Abdu is the on-site manager but does not speak English so we had a communication problem. Fortunately, not much went wrong. We did not request a meal upon arrival or any stocking of groceries but was charged 220E for dinner and ingredients when we arrived which was unexpected and very expensive for 2 baked chickens and a casserole, Otherwise, we had a lovely holiday. I would highly recommend Villa Boulbon. Pascal and Laura were a great help in making the booking process easy. Any correspondence was answered immediately.
Many thanks to them both!

relaxation in a beautiful setting
Overall, we had a lovely stay at Les Muriers. The town of Goult was off the "beaten track" so there weren't buses of tourists. Yet it had the necessary amenities and was every bit as pretty as the more traveled towns. The villa was beautifully decorated with a well-skiled personal touch-- not just a impersonal rental space. While each of the bedroom/bathroom suites were lovely, the only thing lacking was sufficient public gathering space for our family. A larger patio or living room area with couches etc, would have been ideal although I understand that space in the village in contrained.

Stunningly well equipped luxury in traditional setting
Beautiful house with stylish mix of traditional and modern - endless space outside and in for 14 guests. Well supported by housekeeper and caretaker as well as very personal welcome and input from the owner. Lots of fun with tennis court, stunning pool, boules, table tennis, mountain bikes, pinball machine, cinema room etc all in traditional vineyard setting with magnificent views. The main bedroom suite is to die for!

Everything and more than we expected.
Luxary Retreats made it easy to have the holiday of a life time with our oldest and dearest friends. We expected ithe villa and service to be of a high standard but we have to say that both exceeded our expectations. I would happily rent a villa with Luxary Retreats again as I know I can trust them to deliver the standard I 'm looking for.

A perfect house for group or family vacation.
Very centrally located, the house beautiful with a WONDERFUL kitchen. The seating could have been more comfortable. There was a great stock of books and games and a little watched TV. The office came in very handy.

Wish we had known that the upstairs bathrooms were both up steep additional flights of stairs and that one bedroom had to be accessed through another.

Janine was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The master bedroom is a work of art with amazing Moroccan influences. The weather was perfect, no heating was required. There is a wood-burning fireplace.

Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely and we would return.
