Beautiful, well kept villa in a spectacular location
This was a wonderful villa. Beautifully designed and built, everything worked well. The location and view were spectacular, the service was friendly, helpful and discreet. Katerina and crew were charming and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay.

Fabulous
We had a fantastic stay at the Villa. Takis was extremely helpful and went out of his way to deliver on any request. The cleaning lady was very thorough. The on site "housekeeper" Christos was relatively non existent but nice when we did see him.

we all had a great time. If you wanted to go out and party, it was just a short walk away. And if you didn't you could stay at the villa and relax. The villa location is just set away from the husltle and bustle of the town for a quiet night. Though, I must say it is a pretty steep hill to climb to get there.
My first experience with LuxuryRetreats
As usual I expected that the presentation spotlight the best. The reality that we found in site was definetly superior to the presentation. Special appreciation for the owner / administrator of the site. He done more than operating a renting contract. We visited hole Paros and Althea 2 is one of the best locations.
The house and staff was all I expected it to be and more.
I have been going to Mykonos for years and usually stay with friends and family but renting a house is definitely preferred particulary above my favorite beach on the island. The Panormos Bay House is a classic Mykonian house, very well maintained with a great pool, beautiful views and all the necessary amenities including a great staff. I can't thank Catrina and Ben enough for their professional and courteous service. They made the renting experience a pleasure. Except for one issue I have addressed below, which proves you can get used to almost anything if everything else is as it should be, it was a fabulous vacation. Thank you.
Lovely villa in a great location.
The villa is lovely and was well staffed. The outdoor living spaces were really great. We ate every meal outside. The location between two beach areas was perfect. Also, you are close to town, but out of the crush in Mykonos Town (which can be crazy!). We had chef services and they were very good. Aqua Living concierge services were very helpful and responsive. As I let you know, the bathrooms in the house were very tired and in need of repair. It was definitely not up to the caliber of the rest of the house. Beds were also very basic. Housekeeping was good and nice to have daily. Definitely need parking with the rent cars-that was important. One suggestion to improve house is an outdoor shower. That would be nice as the pool is saltwater.
Luxurious, quiet retreat within walking distance of lovely town
The Vila was fantastic. The building itself is as beautiful as the pictures show, and the location was even more beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and available when needed while still allowing for the feeling of privacy of being at our own place. The island was beautiful with many activities (beaches, hiking, boating, swimming, sightseeing, shopping, eating, relaxing, etc.) within a few minutes either driving or walking. We can't wait to book our next trip!
Perfect place to reconnect with extended family.
None of us had been to Greece before. It was a new alphabet, new language, new food, new people, different weather, different terrain etc' so it was an adventure!
Photography location rental
Everything lived up to expectations. Perhaps some of the rooms were a bit smaller than expected. I suppose that's normal as villa pictures are usually taken with a wide angle lens.
We did not see a single cloud the entire time we were there! Lower scores below on Kelly Pearson are only because I don't remember ever dealing with her. Nothing particularly wrong, just more irrelevant. For our purposes the villa was excellent as the white with bright accents are very photogenic.
Beyond our expectations!!!
We absolutely loved Villa Aeolos; it was even better than the photos provided. Private, large, airy, fabulous views...The owner extremely helpful and wonderful & will most definitely stay there again!

The villa accommodations exceeded our expectations!
Our week at Villa I was fantastic. From the modern furniture, large rooms and the fantastic outdoor living space with the infinity pool, we felt like we truly were in paradise.
Santorini excellent experience
I am one from the party staying with chandreyee at the Villa. The location was great, although shock to hear church bells chiming at 6.30am Sunday morning. Villa very clean and serviced well. Definitely recommend to others.

Excellent except for bad guide hiking Samarian Gorge
Luxury Resorts contact helpful in setting up. Irene, contact in Crete, was very helpful. Villa was spacious. We will consider other locations with your company. Lovely time.
Only complaint was guide Anna when we hiked Samarian Gorge (Diktynna Travel Tour Company- the tour company recommended in the Villa Joy activity booklet)- when I twisted my knee she wouldn't get me a donkey & abandoned me, made me hike down badly injured. Finally Beren Wolffenbuttel from Faragi Tours, another company that we didn't hire, helped me. Anna was very bad- would never recommend her or her tour company.
It was great staying in the villla,plenty of room and a unique experie
We had a great time in Santorini, the villa had a great ambience. The local village had excellent restaurants, and freindly staff.
Sunset in Oia was beautiful, donkey ride was a laugh.
Greek food and hospitaltiy,excellemt.
Tasteful house and great location, the neighbours are a bit close ....
We had a wonderful and very relaxing week, away from the august crowds. The view of the house is a dream, and so is the design of the house. The only downside is others houses that are quite close. But definately the villa worth it' price. Also great and discreet service for cleaning and garden, everything with was immaculate.
Large, quiet et confortable house.
Nice house on a beautiful island. The view is exceptionnal. The swimming pool, the size of the rooms are perfect. The furniture and the beds were not as confortable as a luxury villa should be. The maid and house guadrien ( a couple) did not speak a word of Englisg, i.e. communication impossible.
Relax and Privacy
Beautifull house with lot of personal details, surprisingly large dimensioned. Very qiuet and privat. Ambicious service. We had very nice two weeks.
It was an unforgettable experience.
The combination of the villa (which we loved), Mykonos (which we knew from before and love anyway), and the combination of friends that stayed at the villa, made this into a perfect holiday. They key factor was the combination of friends with whom we shared this experience in Mykonos, for without them, the villa would have meant nothing. The house itself was perfect and had everything we needed and expected. The location was perfect. There were only a couple of things we were not happy with. First, the house was not cleaned properly when we arrived--one sitting area was full of dirt, the barbeque was used and not cleaned, there were food rests in the oven, and the pool was quite dirty. Aqua Living sent someone to clean the house the same day which was good then, but it should have been cleaned properly before our arrival. We were also very unhappy that Andre, the Aqua Living rep, had no idea where we had to be for our departure ferry and was no help at all in aiding one friend get ...
Great getaway
I wasn't too happy on the first day - the location was not what I thought it was. I felt like I was misled because I specifically asked how far the town is from the property (see Q9). But we got to appreciate the tranquility of the place and great service from Balbir. We had a flat tire on the second day and requested a change to an automatic car. Takis was great and took care of everything in a few hours, hassle free.

Absolutely amazing!
Our stay at Villa Althea 2 was absolutely perfect! The villa had severeal different outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the spectacular views.
Beautiful restful week in Crete
Our family had a great experience at the Villa Joy. the house was lovely and suited our family perfectly. The house had everything we needed and the grounds and pool were lovely. The pre-visit shopping arranged by Irene was very helpful. Irene in general was warm and welcoming and very helpful with whatever items we needed.
We had only two difficulties related to our stay. Our rental car with National was not waiting for us at the airport and we had to track them down using a competing car rental agency. When we received the van it had absolutely no gas in it and we had to track down a gas station immediately.
Our second problem was our connecting flight back which was booked much too closely together and caused us considerable rushing and the plane had to be held.
Far exceeded high expectations - service, cleanliness, atmosphere
The Villa was fabulous. We had high expectations that were met and exceeded. Would like to have had more complete understanding of services available to us during our stay (cooks, groceries, spa) but it was really perfect. Can't imagine it won't be a repeated event.

a magical week on mykonos
Our villa was perfect - a breathtaking location in walking distance from a small, almost private beach and then the most amazing sunsets from our terrace!
The villa had perfect "flow", just enough space for everybody to find privacy during the day. We loved the kitchen - it had everything - the fluffy towels in the bathrooms, the nice, firm beds and the crisp linens. The house also comes with several very well behaved cats that never entered the villa, but appreciated treats.
Utter contentment
tThe villa was way beyond our expectations. The views were fantastic. Takis was wonderful. Andreea's help in finding this villa was indispencible. The looks on my children's faces when we walked in was priceless.
More than we expected, it was wonderful!
The best villa I had so far
This is an impressive property, located in a beautiful location in Daratsos, Crete.
The villa matches perfectly the description and pictures available on the internet. It is fully equipped and all items function properly.
The street on which it is located is nice but there are issues with garbage collection and disposal (not very sanitary)
The furniture is modern and comfortable. The utensils and appliances are in good condition.
The pool is nice, but could benefit from warming in the spring.
The whirlpool functions only on a pre-defined schedule and is not warmed.
The main safety issue is the lack of rails on any of the stairs - which is problematic for older adults or impaired people.
Overall, it is an exceptional value and I would gladly return to it.
Outstanding and Luxurious.
Overall outstanding. Final Itineray Package did not include the Villa address. Directions were passed after a phone call request however did not include a GPS address. It was challenging finding the villa, in fact we had to call the House Keeper to meet us in the center of the town closest to the villa to lead us up in our rental car. Overall directions were not clear. Suggest a detailed map be given with the directions and e-mailed out to guests.
Wonderful villa to relax in
On our arrival the villa looked as wonderful in real life as it does on the website, the rooms were decorated in lovely vibrant colours with an eye for detail. The pool and gardens were very well maintained, (several times a week). The housekeeper looked after us very well, making our breakfast of fresh juices, cheese, hams, pastries, toast, eggs along with tea and coffee. She made and changed our bed lining and kept the villa immaculate, everything sparkled. We had a lovely week, very restful in a beautiful setting. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. We are looking forward to returning to the villa in the future with friends and will definately pass the details onto other family members.
It was a lovely place to stay.
Villa was very well appointed and a nice layout. We enjoyed swimming in the pool or sitting around reading and drinking wine. It was so nice that our stay become a very lazy relaxing one.
The location was perfect, overlooking Souda bay but near the town and the beach.
We were not aware of the assistance that Luxury retreats could provide in terms of travel arrangements or actiivities available at the Villa in advance and hence I think we missed some opprotunities to have made a trip even better.
