it was good
A few miles east of Siena put us in a good location to take day trips to Pisa, Florence, Siena. We even took the train 2 hours north to Venice for an over night out from the train station out of Siena. We had the chef, Emily, come in for one night and cook us a nice dinner. We ate in front of the fireplace in the living room. We wanted two bathrooms and we were just two people. It worked out very well. Barbara, the owner is very pleasant and is willing to accommodate. One morning we took the day off from day trips and took a long walk in the country away from the Villa which is recommended.
Beautiful villa
La Bianca is a lovely place to stay. It is beautifully appointed and has an elegance that doesn't detract from comfort. It was a wonderful place to return to after a day of exploring the countryside. We had exceptional weather for October - 30 degrees - so we enjoyed the pool almost every day. Our hosts were very nice, although we didn't see them very much. When we arrived, we were greeted by one of their staff , "B", who even led us to the nearest grocery store and back so we wouldn't get lost.
absolute perfection
the villa we stayed if anything was underdedscribed by the webiste. it was the perfect setting, we were (4) couples villa afforded plenty of rooms for all of to relax, the staff was like being with family VER VERY clean and attentive to all of our requests
Great place for a large group, exceptional views, perfect isolation.
everything was just perfect. the staff was great, the accommodations were just right and the amenities were great. We did not have to eat out for dinners as the on-site staff cooked extremely delightful meals. Absolutely fabulous where you can relax or be active. The villa property manager (not on-sight) was always available and wanting to know if she could be of assistance or make our stay better.
It is amazing when your expectations are exceeded!
We all loved the villa, the view, location and atmosphere. I suppose I can thank those 102 steps up to the villa for not gaining weight on vacation, plus all the walking. The whole area was breathtaking.

An exceptional Tuscan experience!
When we drove up to the house my first thought was "This is exactly as I imagined it would be!" La Flora is a completely renovated authentic Italian farmhouse. It had the feel of a warm and inviting farmhouse - but with all the updated conveniences (dishwasher, gas stove, washer, dryer and completely renovated bathrooms etc . . .) We found the kitchen to be a wonderful place to cook, eat, enjoy wine and hang out with friends for the evening. The bedrooms each had separate baths which made it easy for several couples to share the house. Towels were plush and fluffy and linens were fresh and clean. We really enjoyed having the housekeeper stop off each morning to clean up the kitchen and make the beds. One small disappointment is that the outdoor seating area was quite far from the kitchen so we never used it. The pool was fabulous - although a bit cool! The grounds were lovely. The location was perfect for a train ride to Florence for the day and shop or sightsee.
Living in paradise for a week....
Villa Santa Maria (Villa Simona) was simply beautiful. In person, the house, the views, the outdoor "enjoyment" spaces were far better than the pictures on the website. The villa was tastefully furnished with all the amenities we needed. The details of automatic lights, the professional chef's kitchen, the daily grocery delivery and most importantly the wonderful staff - including Cristina - added up to the best holiday each of us has ever enjoyed. A definite highlight was the private beach and the boat dock (where our private yacht was able to pick us up directly). The only negative (which is tough to overcome) were all of the ants. We could not sit on the lounge chairs for very long without having ants crawling all over.
Torre Bizensio
The place was great. An excellent restoration.
Cynthia was very helpful.
Maybe the best house we have ever stayed in.
Lovely villa/lovely grounds/wonderful experience
I have absolutely nothing negative to say. My friends/family and I loved the villa and enjoyed everything about it. Location to lovely towns in Tuscany was perfect, the owner was delightful and very helpful and all of us had a really great holiday. The owner is a bit of a "techie" with all sorts of audio equipment, remote controls for stuff, etc., some of which was hard to figure out. However, the owner showed up every other day or so to clean the swimming pool and was ablel to answer any questions we had about stuff. All in all, a great place which I would highly recommend to friends.
It was a wonderful experience, and gave us a true taste of Tuscany.
Memorable family time
The house was beautifully decorated, the location fantastic, the whether wonderful. Simply awesome for some family time. The welcome day was hectic and air-conditioners do not work well.
Bella villa Capanna Cerreto
Capanna Cerreto was a beautiful villa we all fell in love with. The views from most every room ofthe villa were stunning. The villa was perfectly appointed and more than met our expectations. The caretaker and housekeeper were nice and attentive. We didn't expect to like the villa as much and were torn between traveling in the area and just relaxing by the pool. . This was our first trip to Tuscany and we did not anticipate the driving and the roads. We welcomed coming back to the villa after a full day of exploring.
beautiful and well-run
Palazzo Terranova is a beautiful property . It is well run and the staff is excellent. no request went unanswered. The staff is proactive and eager to please. They made several excellent suggestions for activities, meals, etc. The food is light and delicious and prepared with care. All manners of special requests (5 children!) were promptly accommodated. Only complaint is that LR's website indicates that all rooms are air-conditioned, when in fact none is. The weather was fairly cool when we were there, so it was not an enormous issue. But that area does ususally get hot in the summer
Fantastically located Beautifully Refurbished house
Great house, good location - will be more private in due course once garden has matured.
A piece of heaven on earth
What an amazing week at Al Valentino! The villa had everything we could want and gave our familyan idyllic Tuscan experience. Tranquil setting, ample space and despitebeing a bit off the beaten track, it was close to all major attractions.
Amazing vacation!
Our family of 14 had the most memerable time at villa casa pepe! Although the name is differant on the house. Alida made the most delisious dinners for us almost every night. we even canceeled some dinners just to stay home and have her home cooked meals!
Thank you Very much!
Truly Italian, great house and great suroundings
The Fubbiano have by far exceeded our expectations. The house is an old but beautiful villa which if if you like the authentic Italian style, you will love from the first minute. Also the garden (park) and pool area makes the place perfect for a relaxing summer vacation far away from the ordinary tourist traps. Fubbiano is a place we would love to visit again.
A lovely experience
We had a wonderful time in our villa. It was perfectly located and a great place for the kids to be.
Beautiful, pastoral setting with a well-equipped comfortable house.
The house is spacious and suitable for a large family or several families. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of bathrooms to go around. The kitchen is well-equipped and the outdoor dining area is amazing. Our fondest memories of the house are enjoying a local wine while sitting under the large olive trees and watching the horses nearby.
Breathtaking vacation
le Pratola has everything you might imagine and more. The views of the sun setting over the Tuscan mountains by the infinity pool are breathtaking. The villa is beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home. There is something for everyone. The owner is available with any and all questions which is very comforting - she clearly wants you to enjoy your vacation. In fact it is difficult to leave Le Pratola to venture the Tuscan area because it is so peaceful. We used the Pizza oven for a pizza cook-off after our teenage boys had in house cooking lessons with Barbara - it was a perfect day. The villa was rather large for 5 of us....we won't hesitate to go back and bring some friends.
Beautifull experience in North Umbria
We rented the house Casa Lazzari in June 2011 and stayed there for 2 weeks. It was a fantastic experience, beautifull house, splendid scenery and what a view. We spend several evenings listing to classical music and enjoying the sunset over the Umbrian hills.
We had a great service from the agency on site, the people were very helpfull and friendly, also quick to react on some small issues we encountered during our stay.
It is very isolated and we enjoyed our privacy
Just one slight comment, since the villa was closed before us the pool hadn't had the time to warm up prpperly, as a consequence the first week it was rather chilly
INDESCRIBABLE BEAUTY!
Following an extensive search for the perfect villa on the Amalfi coast, I chose the villa Azzurra. Even though the photos on website were beautiful, photos canot due justice to the beauty of this spot!
I traveled with seven ladies. Every day, repeatedly, we would turn to one another and say, 'This is overwhelming!'
The villa itself was beautifully spacious. we enjoyed the assistance of the butler, Muche and the delicious meals prepared by Anna.
Our local driver, Pietro was equally helpful and informative.
I would recommend the Villa Azzura without reservation.
Luxury living in Tuscany
Our villa was amazing. It was absolutely beautiful and every detail was thought out and implemented perfectly. Service from the staff was excellent.
Jacopa and Rosa are wonderful people and I am glad we got to know them
It was wonderful having our entire family together. The villa was all I hopd it would be. Any problems we encountered were not do to the villa. However, the car rental arrangements made by your firm were most unsatisfactory. The price was not as quoted and we were allowed the cars for 1 day less than quoted with no change in the costa. The rental person was rude and abrasive. Never again! Despite this, the beauty and enchantment of Italy captured all of us. We loved our time at the Villa di Corsano. The beautiful vistas and the quaint villages of Tuscany leave an imprint on one's soul. But above all the warmth and caring of Jacopo and Rosa made us feel like family from the momentwe arrived until our tearful departure. They are a treasure.
Beautiful villa, breathtalking view. nice experience.
I hesitate to review this before receiving the security deposit. The villa was beautiful, full of design details and good workmanship. The stonework, woodwork was first class. The view was great. The bed was wonderful. The sounds of the sea seductive. All my guests were impressed and satisfied. The principal reason for renting the villa was to 'pay back' my cousin for her generous hospitality to my family. This was achieved. Otherwise I would have booked a less expensive house. We once rented in Pula for about half the price.
Villa - - fantastic, Pascal was challenging
The hamlet is unique, very private and remote which is what we wanted. Others may want to be closer to the cities or Siena so always good to see what your clients want. This matched our wishes but in talking with other guest in other villa's equally as nice, they were disappointed about the remoteness.
There is no other way to experience Tuscany.
Being at Mezzola felt like a home away from home. It was nice to be able to relax after a long day of touring instead of going back to a hotel room. We were traveling with children and it was very nice to have a pool for them to unwind.

Early summer mountain retreat family vacation
The first thing that I noticed was the terrific views from the patio of the valley and the surrounding hills. Then the architectural beauty and landscaping care that make up the villa. There are lots of places outside to sit, read, have conversations, enjoy dinner,a glass of wine or just relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The interior is spacious and well layed out so that a family can enjoy time together, but still find places to spend quiet time alone. We never felt crowded.
We enjoyed the dinners organized by Murana and would recommend her services to all who stay here.
We noticed a hummingbird like bee that flew among the plants at the edge of the patio, but could never get a clear picture of it and would love to know its name.
The only negatives were the ocasional millipeds in the house due probably to the open doors during the day and the mold smell in the lower bedroon that was quite distracting.
All in all a most enjoyable time together..
Beautiful property, we had a great time
We enjoyed the villa - very beautiful spot, peaceful and safe. Convenient location (at least for us as we visited a lot of wineries and did a few day trips to the surrounding areas). Enjoyed the cook service at the villa. It just has that amazing Tuscan charm that's hard to describe in a few words.

Mulino
The Mulino is a great place for families that love the outdoors!
We ejoyed our stay at the Molino very much. It is a very rustic hideaway from the crowded touristy areas. It was a little more secluded than we expected (dirt roads from the Abbey to the villa ). This was both good and bad, as it was very quiet but didn't lend itself well to coming and going in the evening, or taking a quick trip into town for dinner or wine tasting. The house itself is a little dark inside. The owners are very attentive and the pool and outside areas were very clean in spite of some major rain and mud.

Mulino
The scenery was beautiful!
The villa provided an adventure in a setting you would not experience staying in a hotel. The views were exceptional. The rooms were comfortable. A large group has plenty of room to relax. The pool, large dining room and living room provided a great area to visit in the evenings about your adventures during the day. This is not a luxury hotel where the plumbing is quiet and efficient or the beds plush. This is a charming, aging villa tucked away in rolling hills. It is a true treat to experience a dinner prepared by Alessandra on your last night - she is a genius in the kitchen!
Great feeling of the Real Tuscany! excellent property and staff!
My friends and I had a wonderfull experience, I will definetely reccomend it to the people I know.
Magical - Perfect in detail - exquisite decor - stately - truly tuscan
Villa is a 5 Star from all aspects - the service is very friendly, accommodating and impeccable - the decor is the best of old elegance Tuscan - refined - palatial - every room was exquisitely appointed - the location was fabulous for day trips to Sienna and Florence as well as magnificent countryside and local restaurants and wineries. A world of quiet refined luxury and opulence for the eye and senses
A once in a life time experience.
My family and I had a lot of fun in Italy even tho we found it to be expensive. We rented four cars. All had GPS. We got lost anyway. Parking is difficult. Our family drivers are excellent, but, we ended with $500.00 in parking fines. ( In spite of how careful we thought we were). Tuscany is beautiful. It is more mountainous than I imagined it to be. The wine, the pizzas, the pasta, the gelato is outstanding. We liked the Italian people. We all enjoyed castle living. However, some of the bed mattresses were not as good as one would like. The housekeeper/cook (Nerella) was very helpful...and, a good cook! We enjoyed her.
VILLA FENICE 2011
A wonderful home, great location!
a trip of a lifetime
The villa was gorgeous. Lesley the estate manager handled us with care, kindness and very professionally. The villa was maintained to perfection. There was only one item that the villa did not come stocked with that we needed and that was a knife sharpener and we bought one for them:) The villa is located very close to many touring sites in Umbria/Tuscany. So many that we could not visit them all in this one trip. The maid and gardener were both wonderful. The tours that you set up for us were both really wonderful as well. However, the tour guide in Sienna was a bit wordy and felt the tour could have been an hour shorter and still would have walked away with the same experience. Our cheese tasting tour was such a wonderful way to spend the day. We had a little bit of everything in that day with a wonderful driver as well and comfortable mini bus.

fantastic
My friends and I had a wonderful time at Todi castle. Everyone there made us feel at home. The castle and the surrounding area were beautiful.
A Tuscan Experience
The location and amenities in the villa were perfect for visiting Central Tuscany.
Beautiful Villa & Wonderful People!
The villa was absolutely beautiful! Everything was great and the people there were incredible. We rented the villa for our wedding. Ten couples attended and everyone loved it there. The staff at the villa were nice and very helpful.
Luxury
We had a wonderful stay in Villa Gioiello - fantastic location and beautiful setting. I think had we known that there were that many steps in the villa, we would not have chosen it, as we had to keep a very close eye on the three babies, other than that the villa was amazing.
The Todi Castle was a wonderful experience.
The Todi Castle was a wonderful experience that offered a lifetime worth of memories. I especially loved the cooking classes. I would say that since the Castle is somewhat succluded I would definately reccommend a rental car. Also I would stress the the Castle is not actually in Todi but in Collelungo.
Fantastic trip
Loved the villa and our experiences on the tours..the food, wine perfect!
Enjoyable trip to Italy
Great time in Italy. First time at a villa and in general it was what we expected. Staying at the villa allowed us to spend time together after long days of visiting Tuscan Hill Towns instead of going to our separate hotel rooms. The property was located in a lovely setting near to Siena which was nice. The bathrooms were a lot smaller than anticipated with one of the showers being too small for any adult to use. The rest of the villa was comfortable.

Great
Great villa, beautiful grounds, selam was a great contact and housekeeper.
A perfect balance of leisurely touring and ulimate relaxation
Our villa rental at Campo Rinaldo was fantastic. Not only was it a great place to be, well stocked, comfortable and beautiful; but the staff on the Todi estate were unbeatable. They were very conscienteous, hard working, attentive and down to earth.
Il Giardino Positano Perfection
Sept is the best time of year to visit. Positano is still busy but not overcrowded or overrun. Food and wine was fantastic. Kitchen was great for family meals and we found a great butcher and bakery in town. Want to return and stay longer next time so we can explore more.
Everyone enjoyed themselves.
The Villa was lovely, private and well appointed. The space was good with room for people to spread out. Ken did an excellent job and was very nice. It was important that he spoke some English in order to communicate with Franco. You might consider adding screens to bedroom windows as several people had problems with biting insects.
I am going to add items that should be in para 8 but I ran out of room:
We did have issues with no electricity that were resolved and then no hot water in the apartment and that too was resolved within the day.
The photo of the view from the pool is misleading and this was one of the key criteria for some guests.
Review of La Rocca, Lucca, Tuscany
We were very pleased with the villa and the helpfullness of the caretakers, Isabella and Joacchim. Isabella gave us a gift of a large basket of produce from her garden, and olive oil. The house was immaculate. The late September weather was favorable, and we made much use of the pool.
Two weeks of relaxing luxury and total relaxation.
We had a wonderful time at the Mulino villa these last couple of weeks. It was a perfect home for our families, central to explore the beautiful Tuscan countryside and hill towns, yet a private retreat for afternoons in and slow mornings. The setting was gorgeous, the pool a big it with the children. The hospitality of our hosts was excellent. We would recommend it to anyone looking to explore Southern Tuscany with a larger group (we were two families).

A Beautiful Setting and Great Location
II Conte is located just outside of Florence on a hilltop overlooking the countryside with beautiful views, and a lovely pool. It is a 15th century estate in good condition but could use some attention to minor details inside and sloppy grounds keeping outside. Example: Garden hoses left laying around and flower pots without legs on the stone wall (some had legs) and a security gate that was not reliable. This property has great rental potential due to its location but the management needs to step up to make the experience a great one. I have sent a length review of our experience to Jay Lunan and Pascal Hoenig.
Very beautiful and relaxing!
Rather than travel all over to see the many sights Italy offers, we spent most of our time at the Villa or in and around the area. The Villa is exceptionally well laid out with Queen or King beds for 6 couples, which is hard to find in Europe. It also offers great opportunities to relax around the pool or sitting by the vineyard, for those who may need some respite from their daily routines.
The local area offers lots of sight seeing opportunities and you don't need to be a road warrior to experience Italy at it's best. Forget the big tourist attractions and enjoy what is at hand! The local people are very friendly and love it when you appreciate their food and wine. The only thing that could be imroved is the shower facilities. Two of the three Villas have small showers, one has an exceptional walkin shower, other than that nothing is left wanting. All in all I would give it an 8 out of 10.

Villa Volpe in Sardina, Italy
We stayed at your luxury villa in Sardina, Italy and it was absolutely AMAZING. We had a maid and a gardner that were so great to us.
Il Conte - Lluxury
This Villa is beautiful. The antiques throughout are warm and inviting. The grounds as just as lovely and the view ot Tuscany is amazing. Il Conte is away from the city just far enough to be silent of city noise, but so close that it's almost walking distance to parts of Florence that are all city with the hustle and bustle that you would expect. The only negative issue that we had were the mosquitos - which we VERY bad. Be prepared with repellant - as there are no screens on any windows or doors

Best Vacation ever
We have only one comment, we were offered a Balloon ride which was quite expensive and although it was not that bad it really wasn´t what we expected, the ride was a little short, we were shown absolutely no "medieval town" from the air and the Chianti breakfast really could have been a little better. We believe that´s one experience or provider that could be improved.

we had amazing time
Enjoyable stay in Massa Lubrense
The villa was lovely. Views were fantastic. The staff was very supportive. Trying to find out how to obtain internet availability very difficult. The welcoming dinner was excellent. The pantry stocking was only partially complete (although this did not create a problem).
We didn't actually stay at Cipresso, but were offered another nearby.
Pianesante was wonderful. Dreamy, serene spot in the country. The staff was absolutely wonderful; an excellent combination of giving us space and also meeting our every need. The location was central to getting to other Umbrian sites, as well. We cried when we left because the place and the people felt so much like family.
Perfect retreat for relaxation amid beautiful surroundings
Villa was in an idyllic setting affording 360 views of the Umbrian countryside. The house was well equipped with everything needed to relax and recharge. The kitchen was particularly well done as was the pool with a large retractable sun porch. Sabrina and her team were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Only two drawbacks, the first being minor and in many ways an advantage, being it's proximity to towns. To access involved very steep and windy roads and the nearest big town, Todi, was about 25 minutes away. The nearest village was about a six minute drive but not really walkable. The only other drawback was amount of bugs in villa ... not a huge deal and to be expected to an extent, but I think a periodic spraying and some caulking may help the situation. It only became an issue when at night sometimes a beetle would be crawling on you in bed.
relaxing and worry free vacation
The villa itself is great. The gardens, swimming pool and al fresco dining make you want to spend all the time outside. Inside it has all the amenities, and rooms are clean and spacious. It is very convinient location: close to Lucca, Viarregio and Florence, and at the same time the area is very quiet and there are a lot of small hill towns thatare perfect for a quick visit or dinner. Local wines produced at the villa are excellent.
Home away from Home
The villa was perfect for our needs. We did a lot of siteseeing in the area. It was a great starting off place for us. If we are able to return in the future we would choose Villa Bottino and spend more time relaxing there. Buying local foods and using the herbs in the wonderful kitchen garden was definitely a plus as my daughter likes to experiment with cooking flavors. The country environment complete with a beautiful landscape, quiet evenings, roosters in the morning and pheasants milling about, was a wonderful contrast to our suburban life style. Fruits fresh from the vine were a daily treat. The boys enjoyed playing around in the pool while we relaxed reading books from the Bottino library on the pool patio. Guilliana was so warm, welcoming and helpful. She personified the atmosphere of the Farmhouse turned into Villa.

very nice location-excellent facilities, particularly the pool-near supermarket-the only two changes i would suggest-most importantly b uild in a grill area-gas grill near tables etc-with this addition I think this site would be perfect. also road leading to this site needs
attention-all broke up-everything else was great and my familty rates this location better than the tuscany villa near siena we rented 3 years ago.
Fiftieth Anniversary
Tuscany is, of course, beaitiful. The villa is a bit remote, but is well appointed and comfortable. The remoteness made the grocery shopping difficult, and we were not able to see much of the area around us.
The best part of our visit was being able to sit down to dinner with our entire family. Our son did the cooking, and it was spectacular.
Positive First Experience
Well organized and a beautiful place. Excellent service at the villa. Pictures and nature of the location just as advertised, except as detailed below. We enjoyed ourselves and the kids had a total blast
Areas of deficiency:
No choice re chef - I was told at time of reservation that we would have a choice of "any kind of checf from 3 Michelin stars to the local grandmother". Instead there turned out to be only one option (a local lady). She was excellent, but the cchoice I was promised did not materialize
No wi-fi at the villa - profile said there would be
No road map available at the villa - this is an isolated place and it's hard to drive around without a map
Car service and Le Baccanti tourist service both had issues - see below
A fantastic holiday
Very nice house, nice service, beautiful view. The pool a bit too cold, no heated hot tub. No groceries bought for us although ordered before coming. On the whole a fantastic vacation.
Ubaldo - A super nice surprise !
Arriving at Ubaldo was one of that experiences where you experience living in a dream ! The photos shown in the website are not worth the beauty of the place and its magic environment. There is a lot to do nearby. We went to Montalcino, Orvietto, Assisi, Florence... all very handy from Vaiano. The view from the house is astonishing. The fact that it was part of the local church is just magic. Very well furbished and confortable. Beautiful pool and varandas. The garden just perfect. All the scents of lavender and white roses... And the local fruits, perfect peaches ! Just perfect ! I would also like to note that the booklet available at the villa, with information on restaurants, etc. was value added.

Relaxing
this was my first time renting a villa and I was pleased with the experience. It did not let me down. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we were not happy about was there were too many insects and bugs which I don't think theres much they could 've done to prevent. the only other thing was the roads were pretty rocky and steep and we did struggle a bit in the beginning to get up to the top of the hill where the villa is.
Peaceful and Attractive
Le Vigne is a beautiful villa in a beautiful location; facilities are excellent and the support team was friendly and helpful.
A lifetime experience
We had a fabulous , spectacular vacation. Everyone was relaxed and happy. The villa was a great accomodation for our group size, the pool was awesome, the views beautiful. The villa mgr was very helpful in organizing our 25th anniversary party that was a night to remember under the stars! Small towns were great. You can not bike from the villa !
DREAM COME TRUE.
EXCELLENT LOCATION.
SUPPERB ASSISSTANCE FROM ANGELO AND ANNA.
EVERYTHING NEEDED ALWAYS AT FINGER TIPS AND WHAT WAS MISSING THEY WERE ALLWAYS READY TO PROVIDE FOR US.
VERY CLEAN AND MANICURED GROUNDS.
LOCATION, LOCATION AND THEN LOCATION " PERFECT"
CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISIM: NEEDS SCREENS ON WINDOWS FOR MOSQUITOS AND VERY DAMP BEDDINGS DUE TO BEING THE FIRST ONES THERE FOR THE SEASON; DEHUMIDIFIERS SHOULD BE PROVIDED IN EVERY ROOM ALONG WITH THE FANS ALREADY THERE.
...ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
THIS VILLA WAS TERRIFIC!...THE VIEW IS UNSURPASSED!...THE STAFF OF THE VILLA WERE OUTSTANDING AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS TO MAKE OUR STAY MOST COMFORTABLE.
Villa Ferraia is charming, elegant and welcoming.
The owner of the Villa and his staff were kind and gracious hosts and immediately made us feel like welcomed visitors to their home. The location of the villa offers magnificent vistas, with breathtaking sunsets. The staff made no assumptions and made every effort to meet our requirements. They were extremely flexible and were extraordinarily efficent in meeting our needs. Meals were prepared to fit our rschedule and menus were discussed in advance, with every effort to assure our satisfaction.
Idyllic bliss: tuscan style
Overall a wonderful property - all the aspects of classic tuscan living-
however: the issues ( albeit a small number ) really detracted from our experience-
Andrew was invaluable in helping us to find a property with all the attributes we wanted - not an easy thing to do. However- the pool- which was for me the single biggest point- was unusable during our stay ( due to a rain fall that dumped mud in the pool- )
the second was the claim that there is a/c - simply stated: there wasn't- some primitive cooling units that didnt cool- but not a/c -
The fireplaces were not prepared with wood and kindling - small points -but still a point-
the biggest issue clearly: no pool.. with 95+ degree temps every day - it really impacted our stay.

the villa was perfect!
The villa was exactly as Laura from Luxury retreats and photographs described. We ah our 3 grown children, spouses, mates and etc...with us. It was perfect.
La Sassaia stay for Shundrawn Thomas and party.
We had an excellent stay. The location was very good and the villa specialist made the trip very manageable. Although we had some communication challenges with the staff they were very warm and went out of their way to serve us. Versus other villas we've booked through Luxury Retreats the price-to-value was not as attractive. But this is relative. We would recommend Luxury Retreats as we have in the past based on this experience and we would recommend the villa with the proper context per my comments here and below.

Wonderful Umbrian Adventure
Our family had a fantastic time at Villa Pianesante. Sabrina was cordial and always available to answer our questions. The villa location was superb, on top of a hill overlooking the surrounding area. The villa accomodations were good although it would have been nice to have screens on the windows to keep the mosquitos and insects out. Overall, the service provided by Luxury Retreats was superb as was the experience at the villa.
It was as comfortable as home.
We could not have been happier with our villa. The owner is wonderful. The villa was wonderful. Everything was perfect. So beautiful, so comfortable and close to everything.
I would stay there again and again. I would also recommend it to all. It was magical.
great food, great prosecco and a lovely time!
I loved your attentive service and attention to detail!
Andrew and Pascal were amazing and everything was set up beautifully, from the car rentals and baby seats to the pickup from the airport and the prompt and vigilant replies to requests.
i appreciated the personal service and ability to reach someone on the phone and not receive endless voicemails etc.
Andrew also worked so hard to give us the best deal possible.
i thought the place was alright, not amazing but it worked out beautifully and we had a great time anyway. it's sometimes hard to tell online exactly what something will look like and the ceilings in the bedrooms in the main house we're teeny, and John and I are tall so we felt a little claustrophobic. but it was our pick so no fault of yours. And it was very suitable for kids and close to a tone of villages and the owners were lovely.
So all in all satisfied though I'd picj something newer next time :)
It was fabulous!!! The villa was gorgeous.
Staying at the villa was a great way to see all the beautiful places in Tuscany with a home base to come home to. The villa was gorgeous and had every amenity. Virginie was so gracious and we appreciated her sharing her beautiful home with us.

The villa was great for our big family and the views were fantastic.
Cascina was just lovely sitting on the hilltop overlooking the Italian countryside. The villa was well maintained and the pool and Al Fresco dining was great !!!! We were glad to have an air conditioned villa and we had a few minor problems with the a/c and bathrooms BUT the staff was readily availble to come out and fix any issues we had. We all loved the place and would recommend it to our friends and family. The Italian chef came out to fix us dinner on the Wed, night and it was great...he did a great job and the food was delicious and very authentic italian. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed our early mornings and late afternoons by the pool area drinking coffee/wine and eating cheese and breads. I was extremley satisfied with the villa - as we were a bit nervous on the initial way up - wondering if the pictures online maybe looked better than what the place really was in person...but I can say now that the pictures did not do it justice !!! Thanks !
You arrive and feel that it is all set up and ready for you
Extremely well located villa with respect to the area. The space in the villa was perfect, plenty of bedrooms and baths. The cleaning staff and maintenance man were lovely. Sometimes the manager was a bit put out when internet was not working properly. House was well maintained and spotless. Unfortunately smelled of smoke from house manager smoking in her office.
FUBBIANO IS FABULOUS.
The villa was comfortable and beautiful with outstanding views. Chiara, our contact at the villa, was helpful and pleasant to deal with. She handled our requests promptly. Roberta our in-house chef provided wonderful food.
It was truly a dream vacation.

Great family vacation
Todi castle is situated in the classical, picturesque Italian countryside of your imagination. Days were beautifully warm and sunny and the nights are refreshingly cool. There are enough activities to please a varietiy of ages, and the staff was great at suggesting things that they thought we might like. The farm tour and culinary tours were fantastic and were enjoyed by all. Truffle hunting was a favorite. If privacy is a concern you might choose one of the villas. Half of the castle is occupied by the owner (who is wonderful) and the staff comes and goes from the area near the pool. They were NEVER a bother to us, but for people who want more seclusion a villa might be a better choice. Also, arranging to have dinner provided at the castle was one of the best decisions we made. The cooks were wonderful and we didn't miss any of the spectacular sunsets! All in all, it was the memorable experience we had hoped for. We've only been home a few days and are ready to go back!
Great time
The villa and experience was as advertised.
Stunning views, fabulous ammenities, relaxing atmosphere= great time
With views all the way to the coast, but yet a completely private location, you're able to enjoy the complete experience. Great pool, well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, service exceeding expectations and a beautiful, old, yet comfortable, villa made this a totally wonderful experience.
The drive up was a little scary. The narrow twisting road that, eventually, became an unpaved lane had beautiful views we were afraid to take our eyes off the road to observe, but when you reached the gates of Al Seminario it was all breathtaking.
The owner was wonderful and stepped in immediately when road construction interrupted our water access, bringing us plenty of water for drinking and cooking and made sure the authorities corrected the problem as soon as possible.
one of the greatest vacation memories ever!
it was everything i wanted and more.
mom and dad's 50th
Our trip was perfect! We loved our villa (some missed their american soft beds and big fluffy pillows) but that is about all I can say negative. From the minute I contacted Laura, and then Pascal, the trip was awesome. I can't wait to rent through you all again!!!

Sole del Chianti was perfect for our Gourmet Club of 16 adults.
The location of S.d. C. meant we could enjoy the peace and beauty of the Tuscan hills and be close to Fierenze and Sienna for sight-seeing. Taverenelle was an easy walk and proved to be typical of any little Tuscan town. This meant that we could enjoy shopping, restaurants and a pleasant walk without using our cars. Tourist information provided us with hiking trail information which many of us happily used. Our on-site manager , Franchesca, was invaluable as an interrupter and source of useful information. The villa itself was beyond the expectations of all of us: beautiful pool, flowers, removed from the noise of traffic, exceptional views from all windows, accomodating rooms and bathrooms and well equipped kitchen facilities. Our welcoming meal was well worth the reservation and a wonderful start to an memorable vacation. I would not hesitate to use Luxury Retreats on another occasion. Patrick, Pascal and Jyoti were efficient and reliable in dealing with our arrangements. Many thanks
Villa Cipresso Vacation
We wanted a remote place to stay and that turned out be true. The location near the Hill Towns and the train station were great. The winding rough roads were challenging at first but we got used to them.
