The villa was spectacular. Very clean, everything was working perfectly. Sergio our concierge was excellent !! Cleaning woman was terrific as well.

An unforgettable, relaxing, pampered experience with friends & family
Hacienda Kukulkan is the perfect combination of luxury and comfort. The villa staff accommodated our every need. The location is unbeatable, blending the private retreat with easy access to the beach, restaurants, entertainment, sealife and shopping. For our group of 15, the layout was perfect, . Lots to do - tennis, swimming, walking on the beach, kayaking, working out in the gym, lazing by the pool - and many places for gathering together or seeking privacy. The food was unbelievable - our combination of Joey and Ryan, the gourmet chefs, with Marianna and team from the villa worked perfectly. I do think all will be on a post-holiday diet! We hope to be back again soon.
Nice, but bellow Jamaica Villa experience by far
Nice house, what was expected. Beach experience below what advised. Service was the minimun expected (cooking, house keeping) Bedding in bad conditions (holes). Overall ok, but for the price not comparable to experience before in Jamaica with Villa selected thru you.
Beautiful Casa Picon
Our vacation was delightful. The Casa was lovely and Anna and Nico took the absolute best of care of us. We used their expert cooking skills once during our stay.

Really enjoyed the beautiful accomodations. Jorge and his staff did a wonderful job of taking care of our family of 11. Dinners prepared by the cook were the highlight of the trip. I would highly recommend this property for family gatheriings.
Amazing - service, location and style
We had a wonderful week at Villa Picon. Puerto Morelos was our dinner destination nightly since it was only 15 min away and the local food was great. The service at the house was friendly and prompt.

We are so pleased with the villa. It was beautiful and everything we imagined. The 4 people that managed the property (cook, cleaner, adrian, and luis) seriously made the property spectacular. It would not have been so special without them!

Exellent villa, extraordinary service. I would recomend that the food service can be charged to a credit card, is a lot of cash to be handling. There is no need to go out from the house all day!! Maybe a golf cart service to the entrance of PlayaCar would be nice.
My wife's 40th birthday celebration
My wife and I invited 5 other couples to join us at Casa La Laquna to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. While we felt pretty comfortable with the location site unseen (we saw pictures on the internet but had never been or known anyone who had), we each had a tad bit of apprehension. This was immediately relieved upon arrival. The destination is wonderful and the home is fabulous. And, I must say, Angel and the staff are top notch - could not have asked for kinder or more helpful people. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.
relaxing get away with private beach
overall the location is great to get away from civilization and relax. The beach is amazing and so is the pool. The only down side was that the 1st floor of the villa does not have air conditioning so in september it gets pretty hot and stuffy although opening up the windows helped. I think in the months of Nov-Feb it would be totally amazing since its cooler at night. Overall a very comfortable house with an amazing beach location. I felt like we had our own private piece of paradise.

What a Vacation should really be like!!!!
We have vacationed all over the world, I always return to Mexico every other year as it's my origin, Chaos is always a part of vacationing with us 5 kids all ranging from 15 years old to 19 months old make that happen. BUT at Villa Picon I truly felt rest and relaxation as it should be for a Vacation. The nesting turtles on our back stairs were a miracle in itself the private beach, and the wonderful staff Nico and Ana who tend to u in a personal level. What was I thinking before a Hotel and a Resort can nit compare to the wonderful experience. My kids never wanted to leave needless to say neither did I. Luxury Resorts made the arrangements easy and painless. Defiantly will look to Luxury Resorts first the next time we travel!!
4 Days was not enough!
Overall, we had a fantastic time at the house. Juan and his wife and the chef were there to greet us. Juan and his wife were pleasant and helpful. loved them. The house was amazing. The pool could have been cleaned a little more than once. And the neighbors were very nosey/complained a lot, etc when we weren't being disruptive. Not Luxury Retreats' fault at all but to not be able to make any noise past 9pm on the weekend could deter us from renting a house again. The house had everything we needed. The grocery service was wonderful. The only thing with that is that the fruit was spoiled after the first day. it all looked delicious but we couldn't eat any of it. OVERALL FANTASTIC TRIP!
Relax at Villa Picon
We had a fantastic restful holiday in Villa Picon. The location is amazing. The beach is beautiful and clean, the water clear and warm. The swimming pool was perfect for us with a big shallow area for the children. Nico took extremely good care of it and it was very clean every morning (very much appreciated). The villa was comfortable and we were happy to have SKY TV for our children. Very much appreciated that Mr Picon bought plastic plates, beakers and cutlery for our children and an extra high chair. I need to make a special comment about the chef services: Susan was AMAZING. We enjoyed her cooking so much. She also is such a charming person. We got addicted to her services and booked all her free evenings. The bedrooms are comfortable thanks to air conditioning. Bedding is the only thing which could really be improved with better pillows, mattress and cotton only sheets. The stair are not small child safe but Nico and Anna were very kind to put a volley net to avoid any accident.
Vacation dream became reality!!!!

The villa, the staff and the city were all amazingly wonderful. I was a bit apprehensive about being in the hillside and not located on the beach, but the beach is only a short distance away and the villa makes you feel like you are in a very private area. The pool was fantastic. I can not say enough great things about the staff. Christi cooked breakfast every day and dinner 2 nights for us. The meals were delicious.
We had 8 in our party and the villa offered plenty of space so we were all comfortable. The common space gave us the oppertunity to visit with each other which you can not get in a hotel and each had their own bedroom and bath for privacy.
The drive from the airport was about 20 mins once we rented a car (rent a smalll one the streets are narrow).
I would suggest this villa to all.
Hacienda Corazon, mecixo
We went with 4 couples and 7 children. The house was beautiful, the service fantastic. Your complany did a great job in helping us plan and arrange specifics for the vacation. All of us had an amazing time. Marilu was very helpful.
However, the best part about the experience was the Chef Joey Thornton and his assistant Maria. The service, food, and hospitality really made the trip memorable.

Great weekend in Cabo!
Fantastic trip - honestly, everything was great, from booking with Andreea to pre-arrival check-ins from the concierge to the villa staff. The only possible thing that would have been helpful to know beforehand is to have received some guidance on the appropriate level of gratuity for the villa staff for all of their assistance during the weekend. Otherwise, everything was fantastic and the villa was absolutely spectacular and exceeded expectations.
Our vacation and the home was fantastic!
We enjoyed the location of the home, the quieter side of the island. We enjoyed not having to drive a vehicle. The golf cart was fun for the kids and perfect for the distances we went. We found the locals to be incredibly hospitalable. We all speak a bit of spanish and loved how patient all were with our speaking. We enjoyed the food, escpecially the Mango Cafe. The pizza at ??, italian name was good too.

Casa Buena Suerte far exceeded our expectation. The Villa & grounds are absolutely beautiful! The staff was very professtional and accomodating. I would also highly recommend taking advantage of the Private Chef services - the food & service was incredible.

The customer service throughout the whole time was great. Every email was answered promptly. The vacation house was beautiful and the rooms were big, clean and spacious. The pool was the best part of the house, and where we spent most of our time. The owner of the house was very gracious and helped us out whenever we needed. He was a really nice guy. Overall I would recommend this house and company to everyone and will definitely go back to the same house and use the same luxury retreats company.

Yardena is lovely. The house is perfectly maintained, the staff is top notch, and the beach/ocean is so close you throw a stone from the dinner table into the ocean.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation thanks to Jay and Catie from Luxury Retreats for getting everything planned and scheduled and to ensure that all our requests were taken care off. The villa was beautiful and in my opinion looks even better than the pictures on the site. The staff at the villa was very friendly and very accommodating for any and all of our needs, they went out of their way to make sure we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Once again, Zacil Na was beautiful, conveniently located and we were completely pampered for 7 days. The staff, Ryan and Joey were excellent and also very good company. They quickly became friends. Gerardo makes sure that anything you could ever want or need is available to you at sometimes even a moment's notice. It is really an ideal place to stay.

This vacation was true paradise and exceeded our expectations!
The Villa Paraiso was exceptional in every way. The house was gorgeous and in great condition. The pools/hot tub were clean and enjoyable. The staff members were attentive and gracious. They attended to all of our needs and prepared lovely meals and drinks for ourfamiliy members (there were 3 families in our group). The location was great - right on the ocean. The beach is not great, but this is to be expected for Puerto Vallarta. All in all, it was a delightful trip.
One of the most memorable group vacations ever!
All 9 couples thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week at Casa Yvonneka. The property is designed well, beautifully decorated, has a very open layout to take advantage of the views, the best vistas in all of town, great location because of proximity to the beach & town, and a very accommodating staff. The only one negative point was the 9th bedroom (next to the kitchen) was very noisy with the kitchen prep starting at 6AM. So that couple had to move to the exercise room.
Beautiful home with amazing staff provided a week of relaxation.
This gorgeous home is beautifully maintained by the housekeeper and property manager. We hired chef's to cook us lunch and dinner and the food was amazing. Fresh and plenty of it to feed our hearty appetites. The six bedrooms were all gorgeous, each with it's own bathroom, and each one different than the next. Large and breezy with all the ameneties. The property with the fountain and pool, hammocks, louge pit and outdooor dining provided us with plenty of space, comfort and entertainment for our family of 15. Beach towels and plenty of water toys were provided and kept us all occupied both in the sand and the pool. The only complaint, if any, would be that the ocean is rather rocky and not great for swimming at all. Snorkeling was fun and easy, but for water entry you must wear shoes and be steady on your feet. The kids could not really spend time int he ocean swimmming due to the rocky bottom and such. Other than that, WONDERFUL relaxing pristine home and grounds.

From the moment we step foot on the proper we knew we had entered an entirely different vacation experience. The property was amazing and the staff was so well trained. They were there when we needed them and gave us out privacy as well. The food was prepared very well each day at our requested time. Each day the housekeeping staff cleaned the property spotless. The massage services and manicure/pedicure service was one of the best I have experienced in my world travels.

We love our vacation to Villa Picon. It's our second year attending and we are addicted to it. We really feel like we've found our slice of heaven. It is very kid friendly for us. The pools and beaches are wonderful. The Villa works w/our family needs. The staff is great both at Luxury Retreats and Villa Picon. Everything just goes so smoothly for us that we feel we are really spoiled.
An AMAZING TIME TOGETHER
The villa, staff, and location were beyond our expectations. We instantly felt welcome and comfortable. There were no problems at all in choosing rooms as they were all amazing - clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The service was acceptional at all times, the food was both delicious and beautifully presented. The cost of of the food and beverages was very affortable. Relaxing in this beautiful environment was totally amazing. The staff from your agency was also exceptional - answering any questions promptly and effectively. The transfer arrangements went smoothly and were a great reassurance to arrive too. We felt like we had truly been to a luxury retreat!
Incredibly relaxing! Perfect home for a large group!
Eighteen of my friends and I were looking for a relaxing spring break destination and came across Hacienda del Mar. The house was incredible--clean, spacious rooms and bathrooms, a great shared living space, WONDERFUL chef services, and access to a concierge for any questions we had regarding activities in the area. Everyone loved the house and the amenities--including the game room! The house staff were also very helpful, sweet and hardworking.
Cabo adventure
Penasco was a beautiful place. It sits on the pacific side of Cabo, high on a cliff overlooking the water. Whales would swim by daily. The sun rises over the water and set over the wwater until mid march when it works its way behinds some cliffs. Daniel our chef was terrific, Paco the manager was always checking on us daily and Manuel & Veronica were meeting our every need.
Great pool, bedrooms, exercise and theater room. Away from the tourist but minutes away of we want. The view of the end of the Baja pennisula and marina were breathtaking.

Quiet, relaxing, and private
We had a great time. The condo has amazing views, all of the space and features that you need to feel like you are at home, it is very well furnished, and very private and quiet. The private, rooftop sun deck was especially nice.

Supassed all expectations. We expected 1 chef...we had 3. We expected a beautiful villa...we had a mansion without compare. We expected a great vacation...we had the experience of a lifetime.

The villa was perfect for our group - and the staff were amazing! So friendly, kind and courteous. The beach is perfect, and the landscaping around the villa was amazing- Pedro never stopped! A Beautiful relaxing family setting!
We had a fantastic time during our stay at the Villa Picon. The villa was amazing with such a beautiful view of the ocean; it was very spacious and clean! Anna and Nico did a great job of taking care of the villa and us; they made our stay very enjoyable. The pool and patio area was gorgeous, although the hot tub was more of a warm tub.
We would highly recommend villa to any family or some group of friends!
Casa Isla is a beautiful house, spacious and very comfortable.
Isla Mujeres was a low-key, relaxing place to spend two weeks with our family. We felt very safe. The beaches were beautiful and the water was ideal for swimmning. The food was surprisingly good, varied and inexpensive. Golf carts were fun! The infinity pool/hot tub at the house were refreshing--and the view was superb, including the sunset each evening.

From the moment we arrived, we were completely delighted and vowed to come back. The villa is beautiful, with ample space for a large party, but completely cosy for only us 5. Nacho was simply amazing: wonderful cook, responsive to our wishes, helpful in every way. Pablo oversaw the whole trip with great care and the rest of the staff was terrific. This was a vacation to cherish.
In regard to the area, it was safe and secluded and our visits to the surrounding towns were easy and relaxed and fun. Our whale watch (although a little hard to find in terms of the office) was phenomenal; we were thrilled by a very lively mother and baby.
All in all, a phenomenal trip.

We loved the location. Perfect for two couples. Third bedroom was just ok. Staff most helpful. Club 96 was hugh benefit. Would have appreciated more bath towels. Spa wasn't working upon arrival but repaired right away. Welcome margaritas and guacamole was perfect!
Casa Marilu Jan 14-21, 2011
My vacation at Casa Marilu in January far surpassed my expectations. It was even better than the photos on the website...which I didn't think was possible! The staff made the stay so easy and accomodated all our requests and were proactive in offering up ideas and suggestions based on their own expertise. It was a trip of a lifetime!
Our vacation at Villa Tortuga was very special-twas a luxury retreat
We had an awesome time! a challenge when you have 3 teens along. Our own beach, quiet and relaxing and no pressure of a resort population. Our kids loved the quick access to the hottub, pool and surf. We've vacationed and enjoyed the typical things like tours, golf, and local cuisine before - we've never sat at the water at night and watched the moon... or witnessed a manta ray at our feet first thing in the morning. We only wish the daylight lasted longer!
Perfect
We had a perfect vacation. With the advice, assistance and prompt attention of Luxury Retreats, specifically, Mat DeGraff, and later, Catie Cathill we a had an exceptional vacation. The villa, the beach, the pool, the view was exactly what we were looking for and exceeded our expectations. This was the third vacation I organized with the help of Luxury Retreats and it, like the others, worked out fantastically well.

40th Birthday Extraganza
This was our second trip to Villa Mia with a big group for a 40th birthday. What makes this place so special besides the obvious paradise setting is the staff. They are just so warm and wonderful that you feel so well taken care of. The food was again amazing thanks to Carlos, everything from breakfast made to order to the guacamole to the nightly feasts. We spent two days in town and never once got a meal that even came close. The villa itself is really amazing, so big and all the rooms have their own baths which is really nice. We spent our days by the pool and our nights in the living room dancing. If you want to wow your group, take them to Villa Mia and book with Luxury Retreats. The concierge service was first class and they made all the arragements so easy.
Perfect Girls Trip in Fantastic Villa
We rented Hacienda las Palmas in Riviera Maya for our 40th birthday year. Nine women (most mothers of multiple children) traveled and participated in the trip. One of the nicest features was the fact that the villa came with a chef included in the rental. We only had to pay for groceries - what a bargain and a treat. We didn't have to cook a meal or touch a dish! And the meals were as good or better than any nearby restuarant.
The area, Puerto Aventuras, is great. Very safe and compact. We had plenty to do!
The villa was exactly as it appeared on the website (always a concern) and seemed t oo good to be true.

In Casa Buena Suerte we found the perfect setting to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. There were walks on the beach, kayaking, snorkeling, relaxed conversations and great meals. There was something for everyone.
Villa Picon is a little slice of heaven!
From our initial interactions with Matt DeGraff and Catie Cudall at Luxury Retreats to our arrival and stay at Villa Picon, everything was handled with personal attention and professionalism. The staff at Villa Picon were superb as well. the property manager, Ulysses and, particularly Nico and Anna the onsite staff were wonderful and helped make our stay very special. Villa Picon is a fantastic property. The house itself is well-appointed and beautiful and the moment we walked in the front door and saw the view to our wonderful private pool and the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico before us, we knew we were in for a very special vacation. The property is ideally located as well between the "action" in Cancun, the quaint charm of Playa Del Carmen and the surrounding local activities and sites. We would highly recommend this property to anyone and plan to be back again and again!

The villa looked exactly as represented. The service from Kirsten and Marilu was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Their help made the experience much easier and was a big factor in our deciding to book a villa. They answered all our questions quickly and followed through on every request. What an absolute Fantastic experience!
We are two families of 4 adults and 5 children that have traveled extensively together for years and i must say the trip to Cabo San Lucas and staying in Villa Luna Nueva (booked through Luxury Retreats) would have to be up there as one of the most amazing holidays we have ever had. From the moment we booked with Luxury Retreats we had nothing but a fantastic journey. Laura from Luxury Retreats, Pascal, our concierge , Juan the manager- everyone was FANTASTIC!. We knew when we left Australia, we were in safe hands! When we arrived in Mexico, our driver was waiting. He even offered to stop at the shops for supplies!. Then when we arrived at the Villa we had Juan, the manager show us around. he was so helpful and so relaxed! Just what we needed! When we walked into the kitchen, we were met by our own private chef who was awaiting us with a Mexican meal and Tequillas! WOW!!

Great villa for sea-side vacation
We came to celebrate NY: 4 couples and 4 small kids. Villa is a cozy place right on the sea.
We had an awesome time.
Our trip was fabulous. Everyone loved the location and the villa and there is nothing we would have done differently. I'm glad we got the rental car. Marilu was very helpful when we arrived at Thrifty rental and they told us they don't have the car we reserved. I called her right away and I don't know what she did but we got our Suburban the following morning. :) That car worked so much better for us that I would've been really upset if we had to keep the van.
We ended up driving to Cancun and Playa del Carmen couple of times. We found Costco and all the nearby stores. The owners of the house had a binder on the coffee table with all the neat suggestions about the house and the area. We followed couple of their restaurant suggestions and loved them.
There was definitely that initial wow factor when we arrived at the villa. It's gorgeous! They've done such a good job building that house. All the rooms of the house are designed so well! The staff in the house were very helpful. T
Family Reunion - 19 of us in ONE house - Villa Sol y Luna
The house served all our needs - our 5 granddaughters shared Arena - and had a pyjama party every night! We had trouble getting enough towels for that room. The beach and water toys were a big hit. The pool was a bit cold(a heater there would be nice!) Ismael and his staff made wonderful meals, drinks, and accommodated us wherever we wanted to eat. Our special occasions - two birthdays and New Year's Eve - were truly special. On the last evening(after most of the wind had died down), Pedro lit a bonfire on the beach and we toasted marshmallows and sat around until late in the evening. The family loved the house and the surrounds and the proximity of the beach. They agreed the reunion was a big success!
Beautiful villa, a tropical oasis
Villa was stunning. Location was good too. Was close enough to PV for us to be able to take cabs into town easily without it being a hassle.
The house & the staff made it the closest to heaven we've ever been.
As we explored the house when we arrived, we could not believe how beautiful it was. Although we had studied the photos on the website, each room was more comfortable and beautiful than the next. The staff could not have been more helpful, the food was truly delicious, not to mention healthier than endless resort buffets. The house is unique in how many places there are to sit and relax. We were a family of 11 and it was always easy to find a quiet place by yourself. We loved that you could walk to town, although most of the grandparents in our group could not handle the 100+ stairs to the beach. Don't miss Margarita's ribs and Pepe's limonadas. I really can't say anything negative about the house or our expereince. If you are looking for a place for a group to be together, be it a girls' retreat, a family reunion or just a couple of friends you couldn't pick a greater place.
great view and location plenty of room for guests
The amenites were great except for some minor repairs, i.e. lights in pool need replacing, toilet seat in lower level needed replacement, the electronics were difficult to use and the outside wine coolers need to be thrown out. Water pressure was weak and some shower heads need replacement. Otherwise the trip was marvelous and Benny, the daily helper was great and an excellent chef.

Wonderful Staff. Our wish was their command. Angel helped us above and beyond with travel arrangments and activities. Great food. All of our needs met and then some. Picturesque, serene and private accommodations and beach. Safety and privacy were a big feature for our family and grandchildren. Can't say enough about Casa La Laguna. We are already planning our trip for next Christmas.
Beautiful and Relaxing!
I was very worried about picking a rental location without having seen it in person. The photos of the penthouse did not do it justice! It is perfect for 4 - 6 people. We loved the beach and the quiet.

We were very pleased with our stay at Villa Luna Nueva. The staff was exceptionally helpful and made our stay feel as if we were at home. I would say that this has been my first holiday in Mexico where I had not felt any type of stress. Definitely, Villa holidays are the best suited for myself and family.

The house was a perfect venue for our family gathering. We were able to cook in, drive down to Tulum and Akumal for the day, walk into Playa del Carmen and walk on the beach several times a day.

Amazing beach wedding venue!
Villa Sol y Luna was the perfect spot for our destination wedding. We housed all of the wedding party and families. We had a wonderful time on the beach, enjoying the gorgeous turquoise water and white sand beach! And, our wedding on the beach was beautiful! Couldn't have asked for a better, easier, more relaxing spot!

The house is beautiful and staff is great! The rooms are however not all created equal, one of my guests told me this. I feel there is also a lot of miscommunication in the planning process and food was over bought. I would love to return but would plan it a little different by giving a budget for food (We were charged $2,000 for 3 nights 6 meals for 9-10 people and 4 of these meals were breakfast), the second thing I would do is take advantage of the wonderful staff more and having a schedule printed out for my guests.

The Villa was such a magnificent place. All (9) of us truly enjoyed and fell in love with this villa. Of course you never know what you are getting, however, this was just a marvelous experience and all of the arrangements that were made made our stay more pleasant. The staff was stupendous. They were very welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home and made sure that we were well taken care of.

The house, the way we were cared for, the chef and all the arrangements were perfect. We had 5 kids under 13 and they felt welcomed and pampered at all times! The adults were completely relaxed and enjoyed every moment. Jose Luis arranged for boat rides and a trip, both fabulous. Chaya was absolutely lovely and even let the kids play with puppies which was a big hit. Our chef Carlos was fantastic and everyone is ready to come back.

Our home was as beautiful as advertised, and created the setting for a wonderful family vacation. Add to that the wonderful concierge service (Marilu) provided by luxuryretreats, and it made for one of our most memorable family experiences.

A picturesque and relaxing honeymoon at Villa Picon
The villa and the location was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly what we needed for our honeymoon. The house is large and comfortable, well decorated and laid out. The location was relatively remote and private, yet close to Playa del Carmen for nights out and groceries. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and great cooks. Everything was in good condition and kept clean. Would definitely go back again. Only criticism would be the condition of the beaches, there was garbage and lots of washed up seaweed that was a bit unsightly.
Amazing week in paradise!
The house exceeded our expectations. It is elevated enough to have incredible ocean views but close enough to the water to walk down to the beach (about 100 steps down a private stairwell). The staff work their tail off to make sure that everything is perfect. Oh, and the house is a beach walk away from downtown. I don't have a bad word to say about the place.
a Great family experience!
The first thing we have to say is how great all the people in Villa Mia were!! Carlos, Chichos, and Antonio were awesome! We felt like kings and queens! The service was amazing, the food was absolutely delicious and the cooks went over the top every meal! and the Villa was wonderful! the view amazing!--the dolphins we seen every day made that even better :) and then the day we seen the 2 whales just topped it off for sure! all of us as a family said we would go back there for sure!
I also had a great experience dealing with you guys from Luxury Retreats as well--it makes it alot easier on us--organizing the food before hand, having the playpens available--huge plus! and the friendly and efficient service i received was wonderful. All our family feel the same way that Luxury Retreats is the people to deal with for another villa in the future!

Everything was JUST as she described it would be. The 40th birthday experience was awesome and just simple divine. Raul was the BEST though, he was my favorite. At my beck and call. Fantastic Fiftieth Birthday Celebration
We had a fabulous time at this gorgeous Casa Buena Suerte. We found the staff to be most helpful prior to our trip and once we arrived. The owner and management staff was most accomodating when a hurricane shortened our vacation. I would recommend this fabulous villa and Luxury Retreats to anyone looking for confidence in booking a vacation in this area.

Our vacation/celebration for my husband Jason's 30th was amazing! Great time to visit Playa del Carmen. The house was amazing and the staff was amazing! Luxury Retreats was great to work with and helped us having everything perfect. Everything went smooth from the planning to the week at the villa.
Casa Nalum is a lovely villa located on a beautiful beach.
The villa is located on a peninsula wih a beautiful white sand beach on one side and a large lagoon on the other. The villa has a large living room and surrounding decks with wonderful views of the ocean.
The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Their service was first-rate and the food was exceptional.

We loved the house and loved the staff. Everything was pre-planned and organized so well. We had almost everything we ordered except for a couple of items on our arrival. The Chef was great, along with the staff. The house was beautiful and a perfect place for us to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We never left the house!

Casa Pamela-Awesome experience
Esperanza was an unbelievable resort. The residences were very nice, and spacious. I I wish we had known that the pool facilites at the residences were not open (grill, swim up bar etc), however we had full access to the club, as well as both pools at Esperanza, so it was still very nice.

Villa Castillo Escondido was a truly amazing stay, the location and accommodation well above our expecations. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to stay in paradise.

We had a fantastic time at Villa Picon! The house and property FAR exceeded our expectations and the staff were beyond helpful! Even for rainy season the weather was phenomenal and I felt like someone hit my 'relax' button the minute I walked through the door.
I wont hesitate to book here again, and with Luxury Retreats as well. Jeremie and Marilu were both exceptionally helpful and accomodating throughout the process.

It was a vacation of a life time everything went as smooth as anyone could ask for. Everything was set up just as our Luxury Retreats staff had set up and told us it would. The staff at the villa was amazing. The chefs where out of this world. There is no way anyone could ask for a nicer trip.

One of the best vacations I have ever taken.
My husband and I rented 3 villas near Puerto Vallarta from Luxury Retreats- Villa Mia, Villa Cosmica and Casa Gran Dia- for our destination wedding in Mexico. All guests at the wedding stayed at these villas. We had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute of our wedding weekend. Our guests had a wonderful time and have continued to comment that it was one of the best vacations they had ever taken. Villa Mia was a beautiful, paradise-like retreat for our friends and family and we are thrilled that we chose to stay there. The other villas were also beautiful.
Our expereince with Marilu, the guest services specialist, was fantastic! She is the hidden gem of luxury retreats! She had wonderful reccomendations, prompt and throrough communication, attention to detail and was an overall pleasure to work with! Ryan had told me that guest services were available, but I didn't realize until working with Marilu how much help she would be. She raised our vacation to the next level!
Best service, best food, best fishing, best vacation ever!
The house was beautiful and very clean. With 8 guys there was more than enough room to relax and enjoy the beautiful, lush gardens and ocean. We didn't even use some of the house it was so large. Pepe and Margarita were unbelivable, by far the best service and food any of us have ever expierenced. Pepe's english was also very good and he was a pleasure to work with. He even is mailing me my sunglasses that I left on the fishing boat after he retrieves them from the captain! Trasporation, though relativly expensive to and from the airport and to and from the marina was also very attentive, safe and professional.
Incredibly Amazing Vacation
Many times you see photos of a place you are about to visit and once you arrive you are quite disappointed--this was NOT THE CASE. Every statement about the property and services were exceeded. The house was definately indicitive of an architect's vision and the location was perfect. But the staff was truly the icing on the cake--perfection in every way. From the moment we entered the property, they made us feel welcome (the cool scented towels probably helped). This continued throughout our stay--we wanted for nothing and knew we were only a request away if we did need something. Our meals were comparable to any five star restaurant that I have ever been to dine. Excellent variety, excellent presentation, and most importantly excellent taste. I can only sum up my experience by saying that I will be a repeat customer!

The house was great and as advertised. The housekeeper Amalia and maintenance man Nico were also terrific. The location was remote enough so that we were not bothered by crowds, yet close enough to do a reasonable day trip. They made the family feel safe.

Excellent, friendly and warm staff. The superb accommodation made our family vacation a memory to last forever. Sol y Luna was perfect even for such a large group. ( 20 guests) Everyone had their own space and it was suitable for all ages. The chef service was incredible, it really was one of the highlights - as no-one was on duty.... only on vacation. Special thanks to the nanny/house keeper who made life even easier and our boys loved them.

Amazing location!
The house is fantastic and in an amazing location! We went in July during turtle nesting season and were blessed to see turtles building nests on the beach on a couple of evenings. The staff are incredibly attentive at keeping the house, pool and beach immaculate. The house was spacious for the 9 of us. Only the bedrooms are air conditioned so that may be a consideration if you are relegating some guests to sleeping on the couch downstairs. Easy to get to Cancun and aiport to the north, and Playa del Carmen, Xplor/Xcaret/Xel Ha to the south.

We had a wonderful time! The Villa was very clean and spacious. The waves and water were the best! The private pool and hot tub were fun too. The Caretaker Nico and The Maid Amalia were Excellent! We always felt very safe....no problems at all!
We saw multiple Loggerhead turtles laying their eggs on the beach at night! An amazing sight we'll never forget.

Casa La Laguna is an excellent choice for a vacation in Mexico! The villa has everything one might need and more! The people in San Jose (nearest town) are very nice, and the food is great!
The Villa and especially the staff made this the best vaction ever
This villa is truly luxury at its best. The home is beautifully designed with lots of attention to detail. We took full advantage of the use of the heated pool and jacuzzi daily, and the view is simply fantastic from this hill top residence. We loved the faxct that the villa was in walking distance to the night life, shops, restaurants, and beach. We were not ready to leave this fabulous home and I an grateful to Kirten(luxury retreats) for her excellent villa recommendation.

We stayed in Casa Zama in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. This was our second time staying at the house and everything was just as expected! It was a wonderful trip.

Amazing location, excellent chef, beautiful house but upgrading needed
We loved the location, the staff and the food. The house as well was very nice, but could use some upgrading to furniture and grounds.
The "apartment" should also definitely NOT be recommended to clients. It is above the staff quarters, very barren and quite run-down.
This house should be marketed as a 7 not 10 bedroom for most satisfaction.
BEAUTIFUL HOME, GREAT SERVICE
There is nowhere else in the Puerto Vallarta region we would rather have been. Villa Encanto is perfectly situated on the prettiest beach. It was wonderful to have a patio ON the beach where we could relax comfortably and not have to lug the chairs, towels, toys onto the beach. We could sit, toes in the sand, and watch the kids play in the waves. Perfect!

Casa Buena Suerte was wonderful for all 18 members of our family (6 mos - 61 yrs)!
We appreciated the personalized touch provided by everyone in Montreal & Mexico - including wine and a phone call from Mark. All of our needs were met and exceeded. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space and pool. The wetaher was a bit disappointing, but I guess youo couldn't make everything perfect!!
Very few issues but a lovely casa and good management
We had some issues with the oven not working, no AC in the billiards room, lack of pool cleaning while at the villa, and with some of the areas of the roof leaking substantially when it rained. However, Elena was very helpful. She told us where the buckets were when it rained and to use the mop and towels to help stop the rain coming in from under the doorways. The ceiling fan over the dining room table leaked the entire time and was full of water so we placed a bucket in the center of the table hoping it would not warp. The rest was ok and the house was very nicely laid out and close to the beach.
THE Ultimate Vacation EVER
Words cannot express how excellent and outstanding EVERY aspect of Villa Paraiso. The house, staff, food - all exceeded our expectations. NO OTHER villa can ever meet the expert way this house is run. It is like staying at a private resort which we have never experienced at any other villa. Every staff member was outstanding. The chefs were 5*. The villa is beyond beautiful. Each bedroom is wonderful - there is no room where someone would feel they have 'less'. We cannot wait to return to Villa Paraiso. We need not search for any other destination.
Wonderful vacation
Luxury Retreats did a great job booking our vacation for us. The staff was wonderful to deal with and extremely helpful. The villa location and amenities were wonderful. The onsite staff worked very hard to please us and provide us with a great vacation. There was nothing better than to get up in the morning, make a cup of coffee and take a walk on the beach and watch the sun rise. It was a very pleasant week for all...
AN ADVENTURE!!!!
Our vacation was a great adventure. We saw 4 Mayan sites, visited 2 islands, a cave, a cenote, many beautiful beaches, shopped, eat and partied throughout the Yucatan area.
Marilu, the van you recomended was great and all your other suggestions were very helpful. During the vacation the family would say "John, how did you know about this place? And I would say "Marilu told me" and they would say "who is Marilu?" By the end of the trip everyone knew who Marilu was! THANKS AGAIN
Lovely setting
We enjoyed our stay. Great location, quiet, amazing view, nice ammenities. The help was very efficient and unobtrusive. House was a little "used" in appearance and the kitchen, for someone who likes to cook, was lacking in equipment. It may be that most people who use the property have someone cook for them but in our situation, it lacked the extra items that help you cook a meal (knives, cooking utensils, pots and pans). The furniture in the living room was really uncomfortable. Regardless of the few negatives, this was a great trip and we appreciate you sharing you house with us.
Perfect setting for the perfect vacation
The house, service, location and all the amenities were perfect. Only possible recommendation is to add snorkeling masks to the rest of the snorkeling gear and some quick directions for the oven portion of the stove.
Family vacation of a lifetime
From start to finish, our vacation at the villa was perfect. Everyone could not have done a better job at meeting our needs. Norberto is the best. He helped us plan the vow renewal ceremony and went above and beyond what he had to do to make everything perfect. The staff were always there for us no matter what our need was and the chef, Ismael, he is wonderful. The food he prepared was delicious. I have never seen anyone so on top of his job as Pedro. He was always busy taking care of the grounds and making sure things were done perfectly. Honestly I would love to have taken everyone of them home with us. Mr. Philp, you have the best people working for you there at the villa. We had the time of our lives. The entire James family,Johns family, Sullivan family and the Clark family, would love to thank you all so very much!!

We love the Villa Picon and looked forward o our return trip and to seeing Niko and Amalia again. We were so happy for her on her marriage! We are so comfortable at the house that it is like a home away from home. No electricity problems this time and the weather was perfect! We visited Xpolore and Xcsret this time and even went for a few hours over to Cozumel. It was great the second time around also. Thank you so much
Perfect 40th Birthday getaway with friends.
We were a group of eleven old friends and we all raved about our trip. From Anselmo our driver to our fishing charter and cenote guide, all was perfect. Our villa was beautiful and the staff fantastic. The chef services were amazing. Lenny, Alfonso and David were flexible, professional, accommodating and prepared the most delicious food. Andrea was fabulous - I can't say enough about her. She made sure that our dining experience was top notch and that our excursions were perfect- not to mention, she made killer drinks! Our massages from the White Spa were divine. It was great to have Anatola visit to make sure everything was going smoothly.
The only minor complaint was that there were ants in two rooms, but the house staff quickly got rid of them and sprayed. No big deal
Marilu and Andrew were the best! I must have called Marilu 20 times and no matter how silly the question, she always answered in a professional and kind manner. I would love to work with both of them again
Trapped in a Corona Commercial @ Casa Nalum
WOW. Primo location. Beautiful beach AND pool. Excellent food and service. Wonderful, attentive and nearly invisible staff. Perfect weather. The only bad thing I can think of is we had to leave after only 7 days. The villa and its amenities surpassed our expectations in every respect. Each time we sat down to eat and looked out at the view of the Gulf and our private beach, we'd say to each other, "This just never gets old." We especially loved the projector and big screen for movies, but I'm really glad we brought our own -- not much of a selection at the villa. The masseuse was great, as was the outdoor massage on our terrace overlooking the Gulf. We and our grandkids also loved the Mayan Canal tour, especially the swimming part and the delivery right to Casa Nalum's "back door" on the lagoon. I can't think of a single detail that could have gone better. We hated to leave.
The design and comfort offered at VP was perfect for us!
As you know, Amalya and Nico are irreplaceable! I didn't realize that we would have them at our disposal and it was awesome. Amalya especially! She was a big part of the reason that MY vacation was so excellent!
The bathrooms are great. Nice and big! We did think that the mattresses on the beds were really hard, though. Much too hard. Lots of great storage in all the rooms.
I desperately missed having A/C downstairs. The kitchen is stuck in the back of the villa and gets crazy hot if you have to cook.
The outside "room" was the best! We lived in that room. The pool and beach were great. Very well maintained. Nico fixed the volleyball net for us.
WIFI was great to have. The furniture throughout the villa was very comfortable and indestructible! I loved that since 7 college kids can be quite rough on furniture!
The location of the villa was great, too. Close to the airport. We loved Puerto Morelos, just 10 minutes away!

Casa Buena Suerte - Soliman Bay was a beautiful Villa in excellent condition! The Villa was built at great expense, and with attention to architectural detailing inside and out; including domed ceilings, a gorgeous roof terrace, and an infinity pool over looking the Caribbean. There were multiple areas to gather or relax. Always a place to relax or gather in complete sun or complete shade, and everything in between. Wonderful sea breeze kept you comfortable all day long. The staff is impressive! Hugo, on site manager was so helpful! Pleasant, happy and eager to please, and a sense of security. Sofia, always a smiling face in the morning at breakfast and while cleaning the rooms every day. Aurelio worked hard to keep the grounds and beach in pristine condition. Chef Jose and his cuisine -- a must!! He exceeded our expectations. Every meal was delicious. I recommend his lobster! We enjoyed the food we added him an additional night. So much better and easier than going out.

Jennifer's assistance with booking was very friendly, and extremely responsive. Marilu's work in Guest Services was knowledgeable and detailed. The entire process was flawless, including the arrangement of activities, provisions, and menus.
The villa staff is the best part – attentive and extremely hard working, making us feel completely at home and pampered. Maria's cooking is absolutely wonderful. And Greg had everything perfectly coordinated and supplied. I really can't say enough about the magic that the house staff performs.
The villa itself is magnificent – gorgeous private grounds with lush gardens, a big pool, and a patio that sits directly on a really nice beach. It's such an excellent vantage point for the beach, that there's no reason to step off the compound, except to swim in the ocean.
The entire experience is absolutely unforgettable. I believe that the only reason this villa is ever available for booking is that larger groups are more difficult to commit.
Mexican Holiday!
Terrific time in Mexico! Villa was beautiful, nicely located and well-appointed! Maid service was exceptional! Senor Abel was always there in the am and available to fix any problems. Catering service was exceptional! Very personable, professional and talented!
Only complaint was the rowdy neighbors occupying the adjacent villa. They (2 couples) had a very loud, drunken fight the last night of our stay. Security was called.

The Villa was awesome. Meeting Paul at the unit made it very welcoming. The balloons were grand...thanks, Paul. The home was very warm and felt lived in versus too pompous and cold. Club Ninety-Six is a special treat and a tour should be given of the facilities as part of the home tour getting the guests set up with their cards etc. This special treat could be missed by some folks and would be sad. We sat by the pool at the villa for an entire day, while the boys went deep sea fishing. The next day we all trotted down to Club Ninety-Six and we were disappointed that we did not visit the day before. We enjoyed this provided service and it made the vacation. Lovely to say the least! Needs to be emphasised more with the rental!

Wonderful vacation. Spectacular home w/spectacular surroundings. Excellent cook, accomodating & friendly owner & a superb grounds-keeper. This was one of the most relaxing vacations ever & the Isla of Mujeres is perfect-small, still authentic, friendly & beautiful beaches. The home is beautiful through-out-marble floors, gourmet kitchen, gorgeous dining room. Each bedroom very comfortable & with private baths. Guest house quiet & comfy & A/C through-out. The pool/patio great for early morning swims/late afternoon drinks and late night dips. Will be back for sure! Love the dogs & cat.
Great Vacation at Villa Picon
We had a wonderful trip to Villa Picon in Playa del Secreto, Mexico. I can't say enough how wonderful the service was by Nico and Amalia. There were minor issue with the hot tub and air conditioning units but Nico was extremely responsive. Amalia worked very hard and makes excellent guacamole. The experience was great and we would definately recommend the house to others traveling with enough guests for 3 bedrooms.

We had a blast! the maid service was good, and the overall experience was great. The only part that we wish we didnt have was the rain for the first few days. But the spot of the villa we loved!

Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Casa Yvonneka. When we walked through the front doors and saw the view, I knew I had made the right choice. The villa was absolutely gorgeous and the staff very helpful and friendly. The chef prepared meal after fantastic meal.
We did encounter a few problems, however. The hot tub wasn't always hot and we had an issue in which the room I stayed in ("La Romantica") got flooded due to some broken pipes. There was also a bad sewage smell in one of the top floor rooms. The water pressure in some of the showers was rather weak. Also, we were told there would be an on-site manager who spoke English. This was not the case. Luckily, one member of our group is fluent in Spanish.
Other than these issues, the villa was everything we hoped it would be. In fact, it was so nice that we rarely ventured out!
Villa Mia was unbelievably glorious!!
Villa Mia Resort, Banderas Bay, Puerto Vallarta, MX is an exquisite resort. The locale, the staff, the service, the food, the ambience proved to be way beyond my expectations. It is hard to express in words the beauty of the property and the level of service received. One of my guests commented that the service was better than any 5 star resort he has visited. Julian, the property manager, catered to every request. I asked for a birthday celebration to remember and it was exactly as I requested. From the chocolate and banana cake, to the Vienese dessert table, to the fireworks, to the food (lobster, steak, and fish), to the pinatas. I would highly recomend Villa Mia to anyone who would like to celebrate an occastion to remember.
Best Four Days Ever!
Our group fell in love with Casa Nalum! The beach, house, and surroundings of the Sia'an Kaan Biosphere were beautiful beyond description and the perfect getaway from busy city life. What made the trip even more memorable was the incredible staff: Marco, Mario, Maria, Martin, Mercedes, and Rudolfo - they prepared delicious meals, saw to our every need, and just generally took great care of us. We will never forget our time at this hidden paradise.
