Its 2871-foot elevation dominates a classic boreal-forest landscape that is blanketed with bucketloads of snow every winter, adding cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skidooing, dogsledding and tubing to the endless list of things you can do here.
But Mont Tremblant's attributes are just as much about what sits at the base of the mountain. Its village, recently expanded and designed to resemble a cozy European-style town, is a hub of activity. Like the attitude of this region's people, its atmosphere is friendly, fun-loving and stylish, comparable to the Greek Islands (just replace the beaches with snow). There are après-ski options for the romantic restaurant and lounge crowd as well as all-night partiers.

Visit its museums, do some shopping, try its international cuisine or just spend some time strolling the cobblestone streets of its Old Town.
