Charcos has an amazing view of the Caribbean and the island of Cozumel from one of the more than 1,000 square feet of terraces. The lot is approximately 8,000 square feet, and because of its shape and intense vegetation, it is virtually impossible to see the house and pool area from the street. Casa Los Charcos is the most private villa in all of Playacar.
This architectural masterpiece offers room and comfort by way of 5,000 square feet of fully air-conditioned living space and a total of 5 spacious bedrooms, including one office/bedroom; each bedroom has its own spacious bathroom. There is a laundry room which doubles as maid's quarters, with a full bathroom and its own entrance.
The three-story home is richly decorated and includes a gorgeous dining/living room area with settings for eight, walk-in closets, and an impressive wood and steel aerial staircase leading to the upstairs bedrooms.
The 625-square-foot pool is heated and reaches seven feet at its deepest. It has a diving board and 6-seat Jacuzzi-style seating area with water massage. The pool also contains a 5.5 horsepower Swim-Jet system that produces a current so that you can "do laps" while swimming in place. The house has central air-conditioning and Direct TV satellite service in all the bedrooms.
The windows are double-paned glass and are hurricane and sound proof. The central sound system is by Sonos. There is also Wi-Fi broadband Internet access and an iMac computer. There is a main telephone with extensions in each room and a Vonage phone line and FAX in the office/bedroom.
The garage contains several bicycles, beach chairs, and pool accessories.
