Welcome to Villa Cornelia, a restored 17th-century farmhouse that is one of our most spacious villas in Sicily. Oasi is located on a working farm estate measuring over 247 acres, with olive and orange groves, Mediterranean flowers, a private chapel and even a horseback riding facility. Wander through the courtyard on the ground level then head towards the stunning loggia that faces a beautiful formal Italian garden with fountains and exotic trees. On warm afternoons, take a dip in the large pool or enjoy the sun with a cocktail while lounging in the deck chairs. This home has been beautifully decorated with high-end furniture and richly colored walls and textiles. There are many rooms to relax in, from the high-ceilinged living room to the library and the salon. Enjoy memorable meals at the large dining room table under a soaring archway – cook service is included at Cornelia for up to eight hours each day. With 12 bedrooms, and 17 baths, this villa will comfortably sleep up to 24 guests. Ten of the rooms are located in the main villa—each of these feature a queen size bed, ensuite bathroom and a private entrance accessible from the courtyard. The remaining two queen bedrooms are found in the annex just steps away from the main villa and adjacent to the swimming pool. When in residence, the villa owners live in the right wing of the main villa which is accessed via a separate entrance for privacy. Visitors to eastern Sicily have a wealth of day trip options to choose from. Consider a guided excursion to Mt. Etna, Europe’s largest active volcano. In nearby Siracusa, be sure to visit the 5th-century Greek theatre that is still used for an annual theatre festival in June. Beach lovers can choose between the Agnone Bagni and Brucoli beaches, which are both less than 10 km away.
